Good one Star, the people behind zero.
Yes I do,and it was good.
You made me hungry so I fixed the family: Chilli dogs!
Pure pork hot dogs by Conecuh Sausauge Company from Evergreen, Alabama, with real chili (no beans) - shredded smoked brisket I did up on the 4th of July and real dried ancho chillies, and sweet suaerkraut with carraway seeds. Mmmm, mmmmm, good.
Oooh sounds good, nothing like a good dog!
I could have sworn that we would see Lugar on at least one show this am. I figured that the reason that he announced on Fri. that he was voting for Sotomyer was so he could get on tv.
Thanks for the information BB.
Yes - just looking at the sort of people he gravitates to - Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, Tony Rezko, Rashid Khalidi, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Manuel Zelaya, Hugo Chavez, tax cheats galore - gives me the creeps.
Sort of like something from a horror movie, but this is real.
:)
I assume you were referring to this:
...a large bottle of wine and some more mango daiquiris.

I had to settle for fresh large Carolina shrimp on bamboo skewers, dusted with Cavenders Greek Seasoning, drizzled with extra-virgin olive oil and quick-grilled over high heat. Served with a side of steamed broccoli... /g
A quick comment on the passing of Walter Cronkite. Some say if you can't say something good about the dead, don't say anything, so here goes:
Walter Cronkite is dead. Good.
Bambi is a “true believer” a term coined by Eric Hoffer, known as the Longshoreman Philosopher.
There just ain’t no going back. He is right and destined to prevail.
Well, seriously, that wouldn't be fair to Bahbah and Lucius Cornelius Sulla, who did watch and posted back to us.
I think we've just become jaded as we've seen it time and again on these shows. The driveby media sets a meme, they invite guests to help disseminate it, and report it back to us just so. This week it's Sotomajor and (Un)Health(y) Legislation, with a minor shout out to Apollo 11.
So hard to follow along with bated breath.
Put Sarah Palin on, or Dick Cheney, or say even Jim Robinson (Thompson), and you'd have a different story, and a much longer thread. But as you said, you've lurked here for years, so you probably already know that!
Whoops, should have included you two on the post above.
Thanks for your excellent reportage this week!
Thanks. I’m glad you took it in the spirit it was given.
As Mark Finkelstein says, it’s painful, but somebody’s got to do it. Heh!
bump
I just logged on a friend’s computer to see only 97 comments today. Isaw just enough of this morning’s MTP and FNS to decide that these shows are as useless as the Sotomayor hearings were.
“Kabuki” is what Krauthammer called the hearings; the Sunday shows are more of the same. Lies, all of it!
I am not terribly fond of Chris Wallace, but he is doing a million times better job than Gregory did.
#####
Chris Wallace seemed genuinely interested in having serious questions answered. It was quite a change to see a dem get a grilling.
He must be in that top 1% that gets dismissed so cavalierly by leftists.
