Tony was a genuine journalist, an elegant man, a solid spokesman and a very, very American loving patriot.

Having just one of those qualities is rare these days, and Tony was blessed with all of them. I agree, he's missed :-|

Well, I'd like to be able to keep track of the minutes devoted to the passing of this liberal lying lion. I'd be curious to see how his minutes compare to Tim Russert. I had more respect for Tim than Walter, but neither blew my skirts up. Tim was wall to wall for a week or more. I grew up watching his newscast. RIP, Walter Cronkite. One of the greats.

I too hope he finds a place to RIP. But, Walter Cronkite, while maybe on of the "greats" was not a great American during the Vietnam War.

I will not forget.
