Walter Cronkite was at the top back when media had the respect of most Americans. Sad to say, those days are gone with him...
I don't even like Fox News now - it too has drifted far from its beginnings.
Now, I look only to the net for news - from a select few sources - this place being primary.

He knew 12 presidents, starting with Franklin D. Roosevelt, some quite well. He was speechless during the moon landing. Just about covers it, I guess.
