'Birth hospital': Letter for real - New images of 'Obama document'

After days of sustained silence, the Honolulu hospital that trumpeted – then later concealed – a letter allegedly written by President Obama in which he ostensibly declares his birth at the facility now claims the letter is, in fact, real.

WorldNetDaily has obtained exclusive images of what the Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women and Children says is the original White House correspondence, dated Jan. 24 of this year, just four days after the inauguration of the new commander in chief.

"As a beneficiary of the excellence of Kapi'olani Medical Center – the place of my birth – I am pleased to add my voice to your chorus of supporters," Obama purportedly wrote.

This excerpt from the alleged Obama letter is perhaps the first formal declaration from the president about his exact birthplace. The White House has still not confirmed if the letter or its contents are authentic.

"We treasure the letter, and we're delighted to share it with you," said Keala Peters, director of marketing and communications for Hawaii Pacific Health, which runs the hospital.

I would see little Barry – as his grandfather called him – little Barry and his grandfather mostly all over. They walked everywhere. Stan Dunham, his grandfather, took him everywhere. They met everybody and knew everybody. I mean it's Hawaii, right? It was easy. You wanna be friendly? You wanna see people and know people? I think the point is that most sites have been claiming all along that Barry was born at Queen’s hospital.

Now it’s Kapi’olani hospital...and sites have been rewording their bios of Barry.

So they apparently can’t even get the hospital correct.

I have been making this point all week.
On the silly Topix forums, there are about five different
threads on the BC subject. The largest has over 41,000 post.

It is time for a federal court to end all of this by
demanding to see a REAL birth certificate.

I am tired of being called a nutter or birther for wanting the truth.

Late yesterday, though, Peters finally responded to WND's inquiry when the news site informed the hospital that the FBI and United States Secret Service said the matter could potentially lead to criminal prosecution were the letter determined to be fraudulent.

This is an opportunity...someone needs to file a criminal/ethics complaint against the hospital. Imagine the irony...

The thing that just jumps out at me when I read this is the fact that the hospital treated 62,000 children per year. Sounds more like a marketing generated sentence rather than a fact that would be researched by someone like Obama writing a letter. In my opinion this is a fake.

I found this interesting about the "letter": In one copy of the letter, there is a lot of space between Obama's signature and Obama's typed name.

However, in another copy of the same "letter", Obama's signature runs into---that is, it overlaps a little---Obama's typed name.

Am I missing something here? How come the signature and the typed Obama name overlap on one "letter" but not on the other?

NOTE: This oddity in Obama's signature in the two letters was originally pointed out/discovered by World Net Daily and not by me.

NOTE: Am I wrong, or does Obama's signature on the hospital letter look different from Obama's selective service signature that was seen on the internet during the 2008 presidential campaign? Thanks.

This letter is a f**king joke! totally bogus!! Signature gives it away, as does the phony masthead: just the letters, “The White House, Wsashington,” which is typed computer text as is the rest of ther letter.

Ya gotta be kidding me! Who did this? A third grader?

REAL MASTHEADS have a raised Seal and raised type professionally printed, with a Linotronic, for example.

This is a plain, sheet of white paper, with all computer text.

No signature line! Should say “Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States,” blah. blah, blah.

Same thing for the Salutation. Just the hospital’s name?

The formatting is alsowrong. This should have been done in block or semi-block. This is a impersonal, informal style - and not what a government office would do.

Left formatting should cause breaks in “two,” “birth,” and “one,” instead of keeping them on the previous line.

Polarik, one consistent thing I have seen on these forged documents regarding Obama (including the birth certificate and you and I have discussed this very thing before), why is the date so dark and contrasted?

In a scanned in document from a printed letter, none of the typeface should scan so much darker or crisper that is visible to the naked eye.

According to the hospital (in the article at WND), they created a second “letter” using HTML code, which they used in their marketing. They said they wanted to avoid giving someone the opportunity to use an image of the actual letter for the wrong purpose, or words to that effect.

Above the White House line there is apparently an embossed presidential seal.
