Breaking: Major has orders revoked, by questioning Obama's legitimacy

This story has been slipping under the Main Stream Media Radar for some time now.

U.S. Army Major Stefan Frederick Cook Filed a restraining order asking for legitimate confirmation that his Commander in Chief was legitimately in Office, giving him his orders to Deploy to Afghanistan with his unit.

Today in a stunning development, the Military rescinded those orders.

This has set a precedent heretofore unknown. The entire US Military can now not only question it's orders, a requirement of their duty when they believe that an order is given illegitimately, but can expect that their orders will also be rescinded should they question the legitimacy of the CIC who is the ultimate Authority in Command. In other words, Obama.

You know, now that I think about it, whacking the guy with the loss of his job is only bound to make his case MORE visible, not less. And its not like he didn’t anticipate that possiblity, he had to have know that it was possible, that retaliation was possible.

But think about this for a moment, there are FEDERAL laws against retaliation on a whistle blower... and the DOD did it anyway.... increasing the visibility of the case and giving Taitz MORE ammo for her case..... Maybe the military wants this....

If they wanted it to go away, let the guy keep his job go back to work and disappear.... Why Whack him with his job and make the case bigger and badder?

Well, there is no law saying you have to have a security clearance. It is issued at the discretion of various agencies, and can be revoked without giving a reason.

This gentleman (the Major) chose to commit professional suicide. It really didn't matter what the case was, but suing the Federal Government while working as a contractor for the same is a career ending move.

The Major was told by his former boss that DSS had basically insisted on his firing.

Thats a law breaking decision on the part of DSS.

Does a civilian court have standing to judge orders in the military?

Think hard about what that would mean. It would destroy the chain of command, and subject military operations to the immediate whims of the courts.

Why?

If you work as a contractor, you don't have the same recourse as other wise.

From what I have read on other sites, his security clearance was pulled by DSS. So by the terms of the contract, he can no longer work on what ever he was working on that needed said clearance. That is DSS’s decision, and is part of the contract.

The article even says his (the Major's) boss is trying to find something else, but that there isn't anything at the moment.

Cook for refusing to obey the direct order?

. Cook had the option of dropping out anytime up to the day of his deployment! He volunteered for this deployment after he entered O' class action suit.

I was going from Taitz filing from the court. He was fired before his clearance was revoked. Thats how I read her filing, perhaps I am incorrect on this detail.

Not necessarily, if Obama is illegitimate he cant rescind orders any more than he can give em.

Makes total sense. PINO is in a pickle here, and he deserves it!!!

Obama better produce his birth certificate immediately or there will be hell to pay....

That won't cut it, because they are asking for much more than the B.C.!!!

Obama told Joe Buck and Tim McCarver tonight that he “grew up in Hawaii”, but said not one word about being born there. I found that a bit odd.

But he sent a letter dated January 29, 2009 to one hospital in Hawaii and told them to remember that he was "born" there!!!

Orly filed suit on January 20, 2009, could there be any connection???

My thoughts are once Obama is tossed out of office, they have to give the Presidency to McCain and Palin.

But then they will claim mcLame is NOT NBC either???

Just a thought: Could it be a coincident that the Alaska's "CiC's" resignation as Governor have some bearing to this brewing Constitutional scandal???

There need to be someone credible person available to pick up the baton. Cal's AG Jerry Brown said that "Barracuda's" move was genius move!!!

FOX NEWS story here gives a very different take on this story..

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/07/15/soldier-claims-obama-isnt-legal-president-doesnt-deploy/

A reserve soldier has been granted his request not to deploy to Afghanistan because he believes Barack Obama’s presidency is not legitimate, the Columbus, Ga., Ledger-Enquirer reported Wednesday.

U.S. Army Major Stefan Frederick Cook, who volunteered for duty in May, says he would be committing a crime to serve under Obama because he believes Obama was born outside of the United States, making him ineligible to become president.

Lt. Col. Maria Quon, an Army spokeswoman, told the newspaper that Cook was no longer expected to report Wednesday to MacDill Air Force Base in Florida for mobilization to active duty.

Cook filed a request last week in federal court seeking a temporary restraining order and status as a conscientious objector through his attorney, Orly Taitz, the newspaper reported.

Taitz, who has challenged the legitimacy of Obama’s presidency in other courts, asked the court to consider granting her client’s request based upon Cook’s belief that Obama is not a natural-born citizen of the United States and therefore ineligible to serve as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Cook states he “would be acting in violation of international law by engaging in military actions outside the United States under this President’s command, simultaneously subjecting himself to possible prosecution as a war criminal by the faithful execution of these duties.”

Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961, two years after it became a state.

Cook is an “individual mobilization augmentee,” or a reserve soldier assigned to an active component unit for duty, the newspaper said. He submitted a formal written request to Human Resources Command-St. Louis on May 8 volunteering to serve on year in Afghanistan.

A hearing on Cook’s request will take place Thursday in federal court in Columbus, Ga.

Incidentally, Cook did not have to hire a lawyer to refuse his orders to go to Afghanistan. As a reserve soldier and volunteer, he has the right to revoke his deployment orders.

Fox News has the facts wrong. He did not request not to go to Afghanistan. I hate the media(even Fox sometimes). When they are not out and out biased..they are lazy and inaccurate.

At least they are discussing it I guess.

* sigh*

Despite the fact that we vote for President and Vice-President as a ticket (technically, we actually vote for electors in the Electoral College), the Electoral College votes on the two positions separately. No matter what Obama's situation is, Joe Biden is technically qualified to be Vice-President, and was duly elected to that post.

This is the most screwed up election in our nations history!

Here we had three (3) candidates on the ballots who were and are NOT NBC!!

There needs to be a thorough Constitutional spring cleaning to this election scandal of 2008!!!

Among others, the Secretary of State in all States guilty???
