“Anyone who makes their living from any mineral, ore, or carbon-based material and voted for Obama can go pound sand as far as Im concerned.”
You mean like the numbskulls in the UMW that endorsed Obummer, thereby exhibiting a deathwish of the first order?
Liberalism—a mental disease.
Putin is his butt buddy and Winnie matches his skin color. And most of the people in Montana are white.
See post 94. Don’t know why it didn’t post the first time...
Welcome to Afrikamerika.
Sorry, Carilyn, although I wrote it to you, it was more of a general statement to everyone rather than a direct rebuttal to you.
In fact, I know little about this governor other than what I have read here which sounds like he may be a better guy than some of our Republicans.
I don't assume that all Democrats are in league with the Devil, anymore than I assume all our Republicans are Saints.
True, which is what Palin was indicating in her comments that she will campaign for conservatives — indicating in both parties... I’ve seen interviews with this governor that tell me he isn’t in lock-step with this administration... we need more like him.
DING DING DING !!! WE HAVE A WINNER !!!
My first thought also.
Ha, yet another coincidence. Of what value are these minerals, do we know?
Value in monetary terms? Or value to national security?

They are either not paying attention, (media deception at work), or they simply refuse to admit their error was so horrible in supporting him in the first place. It is going to mean many millions suffering before they admit his lunacy and evil. And not just his - the Dems in Congress are just as insane and evil.
we already have the infrastructure in place
for recharging electric cars, especially
at night.
I am all in favor of nuclear power, but i think
it will be very tough sledding to get
any more built.
Maybe at night, with summer peaking utilities. That’s about it, and you couldn’t replace a large percentage of the existing liquid-fueled transport fleet before the infrastructure would become inadequate. Even if appropriate technology existed, which it doesn’t (batteries).
Either, because I know nothing about these things, though of course I understand lost jobs.
Freedom: you might be interested in this story
about a customer who is driving his
electric BMW Mini.

............................................................
the electric grid in the US could easily handle
100 million electric cars
I’d be really interested in seeing the technical analysis on that last.
He is merely practicing “free trade”. America is obligated to “free trade” with the Russians and Africans under the WTO and the G8 initiatives.
here is my quick analysis.
............................................
US electrical capacity, one million megawatts.
average load factor is 50%, so I guess that nightime load
factor is 20% or so.
............................................
average electric car gets 4 miles per kilowatt-hour.
suppose average daily-drive is 40 miles, and charge time
is ten hours, demand is 1 kilowatt per car.
.......................................
100 million times 1 kilowatt, is 100 thousand megawatts,
or 10 percent of the capacity.
oops, forgot the best part.
US capacity, coal plus nuke,
412 thousand megawatts
