After passing on dinner with the French president to take a date in the City of Light with his wife last month, President Obama took leave of his Russian hosts on Tuesday night to seclude himself in his Moscow hotel with Michelle and their daughters.
The decision to brush off the Russians on one of his two nights here miffed some in the Moscow government who did not understand why he would not devote the scarce time to his hosts.
Mr. Obama has seemed tired here, several times fumbling the pronunciation of Mr. Medvedevâs name and Mr. Putinâs title. Beginning a speech here, he mistakenly said he first met his wife in school instead of at the law firm where they actually met. And he misstated his youngest daughterâs age.

Maybe travel disrupts his access to “stimulants” (does the gym bag guy get to travel with him? naa).
Forgetting how he met his wife, and the age of his daughter, is a pretty severe “attention deficit”

He doesn’t have a clue about international diplomacy and doesn’t think anyone will notice if he’s a no show.
Hiding in your room is not working Barrack. You know it and Russia knows it too!
Putin will probably have a shot of vodka in your absence Bambie thinking of all the money he will be saving by not going to war with America. Your agenda will have us right where he’s wanted us all along. Weak and defenseless.

How does someone make a mistake like this? I know what you mean. No matter how tired I have ever been, I can't imagine making the mistake of talking about 57 states in the US, or making a slip and referring to "my Muslim faith."
People make mistakes all the time due to fatigue, but Obama's mistakes strike me as bizarre even granting that he may be sleep-deprived.

You know folks, without the teleprompter, Obama makes Joe Biden look like a mensa candidate.
He's probaby back in his hotel room craming for his finals. This guy is so pathetic.
The following is directed to Freepers who haven't signed up for monthlies...
is good. 100% is better. Let's go Freepers.
Monthly donorship is a good way for us to avoid having to do the Freepathons. Besides, it's a great way to pony up in style.
If you're on the verge of becoming a monthly donor or you think you would like to up your monthly donation a bit, has Jim got a deal for you.
Check this out. There's an added incentive for a limited time only. (Always wanted to type that...)
Thanks to Freepers who have been frequenting the Freepathon thread to ham it up with folks over there. It helps to raise the visibility of the Freepathon.
Jump into the Monthly Donorship special thread too. There are horderves, hot women with short skirts, and beer too. Alert, the pizza just showed up! It's a partaaaee...
Ladies, there were 15 lifeguards over there a few minutes ago. (I'm beginning to feel a bit guilty... heh heh heh...)

The decision to brush off the Russians on one of his two nights here miffed some in the Moscow government who did not understand why he would not devote the scarce time to his hosts. Halfway through the first year, I am tired already of the monumental diplomacy gaffes from this guy. Oh, am I to understand that daddy blew off his hosts in order to have dinner with his little girls?? I can hear the Phil Donahue/Dr. Phil-types over here, "Isn't he a wonderful father, putting his children ahead of work." Please already -- hey pal, you ain't on vacation! You can't handle the functions of the job in toto, then move on, let someone who is able to do so.
Outrageous that this is tolerated.
To: Pearls Before Swine
He really didnt want to dine out because he would have had to endure multiple vodka toasts at a Russian dinner,Couldn't the Russians have accomodated them by giving him a Black Russian.
