The Huffington Post, an official arm of the Obama administration, published an article a few minutes ago on the resignation of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin with the following headline: Palin Will Run in '12 on More Retardation Platform
To make sure that the article's reference to Gov. Palin's infant son Trig who was born with Down Syndrome last year, the article is keyword tagged by the Huffington Post: ...Sarah Palin Trig; Trig; Comedy News
The article is authored by Erik Sean Nelson was posted at the Huffington Post at 6 p.m. EDT.
The text of the article:
In Sarah Palin's resignation announcement she complained about the treatment of her son Trig who always teaches her life lessons. She said that the "world needs more Trigs, not fewer." That's a presidential campaign promise we can all get behind. She will be the first politician to actually try to increase the population of retarded people. To me, it's kinda like saying the world needs more cancer patients because they teach us such personal lessons.
Her first act as President: To introduce a Pre-K lunch buffet that includes lead paint chips. Sort of a Large HEAD-START Program.
She will then encourage women to hold off on pregnancies until their 40's just to mix up some chromosomes.
She now is in favor of abortion only in case of diploid birth.
Her policies will increase jobs because Wal-Mart is building new stores each day and someone has to be the greeter.
This will lead to smaller government because fewer Americans will have the cognitive ability to hold a government job.
Look, she says she's resigning as governor because people are making attacks on her and Trig. If she ever did become president, all Osama bin Laden would have to do to defeat the United States is Photoshop a picture of Trig and she'd surrender the country that night. As she said, "That's not politics as usual." It isn't. Politicians don't usually quit for so stupid of reasons.
Nelson's HuffPo bio: Erik Nelson has written for several comedy websites and published short fiction while living in the deep South. He has studied the local culture of his Red State and feels confident that they have accepted him as one of their own. Big mistake.

The Huffington Post was recently invited to the White House to ask a question of Barack Obama at a nationally televised press conference. The questioner, HuffPo National Editor Nico Pitney, asked a question on a pre-arranged topic of Obama. Pitney was trusted to do so because of his background as a Democratic party operative.
Link to HuffPo article about Gov. Palin and her son Trig.
They list his occupation as "Fiction author and comedy writer." In other words, he's unemployed.
Your comment presumes to take the headline seriously.
Wow. That’s really mean.
When can we expect “comedy” like this about Obama and his family?
*crickets*
I saved it then went back to re-read it, and it has been pulled.
When Sarah resigns in a few weeks she will take away one of the biggest clubs they had over her, the ethics charges that just kept coming. This pi**es them off and it scares them, because she can do much damage while free to travel around the country unhampered by an elected postition. One more thing, she can now write books and gather much needed income from them. She has once again put a huge scare into the left wing communist that want to make us all slaves.
Barry’s Media Brownshirts Ping!
If the WTC attacks happened today I would not feel at all as I did in 2001.
Thought you might be interested in hearing from the horses’ mouth... or whichever end...
The following is an email I sent Erik Nelson and his response (And my final response).
Gordon Greene:
“I’d love to wax eloquent, but I must get to the point...
You, my friend are a disgusting piece of crap that worships your own vain babblings and dead babies more than life itself. Thank you... really, thank you for showing your true colors.”
Erik Nelson:
“I believed her weak reasons for leaving were worth mocking. But it just upset the loved ones of the retarded, which wasn’t my goal, so I removed it. I decided to pull it down, sorry for the offense.”
Gordon Greene:
“I truly appreciate the apology.
Palins’ reasons for leaving notwithstanding, your article said more about yourself than it did about others. What you wound up mocking was not Sarah Palin but a handicapped child. I believe you would probably be one of the first to defend the Obama girls if someone attacked them, yet instead of going after the very public Palin, you seize the throat of a helpless child.
You didn’t offend me because I expect that kind of reaction from those who share your particular ideology. I’m not surprised, but saddened that someone such as yourself would not realize how you would come across before hitting the post button. You’ve written and you’ve been published and you appear to be a smart fellow... I guess appearances can be deceiving.
The liberal community has cried “equality” for many, many years now, but the only equality your side seems to crave is for everyone’s opinion to be equal with your own. What I pray is that you will eventually see how depraved your point of view is, and that the next time you retract an article like this will be because of a true awakening and not just the prospect of retribution.”
I don’t know if I’ll get a response to this, but I also don’t think it will make any difference to his twisted little mind anyway. But, as Obama says “there’s always hope”!
I saw it when this was first posted—it’s gone. I wasn’t surprised by the article. That’s how liberals play the game. Instead of letting Sarah just make her statement, they want to kick her when they perceive she is down. They never ever let up. We should take a lesson....
What you said was so well thought out and correctly measured!!! Bravo!!! Encore!!!
And may I add VULGAR!!!
[[Erik Nelson:

Um- they aren’t retarded- they are gifts who could teach retarded people like Erik a thing or two IF he had any sense whatsoever, which apparently, he does NOT- the word retarded, which has been retired, and rightfully so when describing people with learning problems, should be ressurected, in my opinion, to apply not to people with learning disabilities, but to morons like Erik who have no class whatsoever
No sure about radio; but she does have previous television experience...
A memorable glimpse into their hearts....
.
To all the idiots on Free Republic that keep posting crud like this :
“I don’t think Obama is truly evil.”
“I hope Obama changes his beliefs and agendas.”
Get a life you jerks!
You are a waste of skin!
His rationale is weak (to borrow a phrase). The taking down of the article speaks clearly though.
I posted something at #157 and have read no further so haven’t seen what you have.
[You are a waste of skin!]
Lol, shall we all join hands and sing “SIXTEEN TON”
I oO0oOO0ooo my soul to the company store...
Not unemployed for long. David Letterman will hire him to make kill the baby jokes all night long. And his stupid liberal audience will laugh and laugh...ha ha kill the babies! What a knee slapper.
Liberalism is a mental disorder and it’s about to crash our economy. We will all be equal (except for the banksters and their political supporters) in poverty. A marriage between corporate and political socialists...a match made in Huffington hell.
Did do... Erik’s reply on post 188...
