Could Sarah Palin win congress for the GOP in 2010?
self

Posted on 07/03/2009 3:09:59 PM PDT by Sybeck1

Just imagine Sarah Palin, not tied down to Alaska, traveling across the country hitting Blue Dog districts. Just imagine the crowds that she would bring out to our candidates. Could she do it?

I’m just not very hopeful for the Republic today.

Hard to argue your point. We are truly experiencing some dark days for our Republic. Whether it's the darkness before the dawn, or we are on the brink of a thousand years of darkness is too early to tell IMHO. Sarah may be a Godsend. We'll just have to wait and see.

Sarah’s book deal will take care of her family for the foreseable future.

Now it’s all about fundraising and turnout and taking back the House in 2010.

The blue dog ‘rats are going to start distancing themselves from The Kenyan’s agenda starting today.

Nancy Pelosi and Barack The Kenyan are not happy people right now.

Sarah would bring some major headaches for the dems in Blue Dog Districts, supporting a “conservative” republican, if one is running....not some RINO. She can draw a fantastic crowd in Any District. Someone needs to energize the Conservatives, and she’s the only one that can do it. Certainly not Romney-Care.

A mother defends her family fiercely.

Indeed, not to mention: "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." RINO's, Dims and the Dinomedia should be watching their sixes.

YES - the Dems are going to get spanked in 2010. The unemployment rate alone ensures this, not to mention local & state tax increases starting this year. Voters are already concerned about Obambi’s far-leftism and will want a check on him for the rest of his term, just like during Bubba’s first term in 1994.

Sarah will raise hundreds of millions for GOP candidates. The GOP needs to recruit “insurgent” candidates in EVERY SINGLE COMPETITIVE DISTRICT. Forget about career politicians. The anti-incumbent fever will be very strong in 2010. Expect a few of the remaining RINO’s to get knocked-off as well.

One thing she said in her speech really stuck with me. She said that she was spending all of her time and her staff was spending all of their time dealing with the continuous barrage of ethics charges. She refuted every one of them, but it reduced her effectiveness. The best thing to do was step aside.

That's political fratricide. All the libs have to do is lob in enough "ethics violation" bombs and they'll kill any conservative trying to stop the wave.

Could it be as simple as Sarah putting the needs of the country first?

Anyone that really watched her statement could hardly doubt her motives. She has just begun to fight.

Fred Thompson / Sarah Palin - 2012

That’s a ticket I could vote for.

We sat outside Thompson headquarters all Saturday morning in Manchester, NH and the place never opened for business. Fred passed his baton to ol’ Mac.

” Notice the most recent spat of attacks from the mccain losers on her........possible the LAST straw for her “

It seems that way.
The sudden announcement with a specific deadline for leaving
leads me to think some non political offer was on the table.
The recent attacks were the catalyst which pushed her to accept it.
If FOX added Palin to their line up, the left would explode.

She’s the only reason I voted for McCain. .............................. Everyone I’ve talked to that voted for McCain said the same thing. That girl possesses magic. Hopefully we’ll see more of her and hopefully she’ll take the gloves off. I would love to see her win over the country and beat back the MSM, who should really be called the MBM the main biased media.

posted on Friday, July 03, 2009 3:27:39 PM by BigBobber: Palin senses this moment in history and the role she will play in it. Republican party is rudderless right now yet people are mad as hell and are ready to vent. Who is the leader that will focus that energy? She could draw 30,000 at a tea party today or tomorrow, anywhere in the lower 48. She is going to make speeches, write a book, make some bucks. The left won’t be able to pot shot her because she will have ready access to respond, perhaps her own TV show. Obama will be a disaster, the country is going to be a mess. 2010 she will help bring back the congress and collect some IOUs. 2012 will be her year to be president.

I don't think she is going to start her own TV or Radio show, but I think she is going to go out there and get some conservatives elected in 2010, then collect some IOU's come 2012 much like Nixon did in 1966-1968

Great analogy and I wouldn't be surprised if history were to repeat itself.

By then, the country will be begging for "real" change and not that BS that Coke Zero was hawking.

She’s put herself into position to be head of the RNC orany number of other high-ranking political positions in the Republican Party. Also, now she has an opportunity to move out of Alaska and run for the Senate or Governorship of a lower 48 state (Florida)?...magritte

Depends on the clearly spoken agenda they have. She won’t win it for Rinos and she ran for VP with a Rino.

With Sarah, our country will not go down, instead, we will climb back to the top and well beyond.

I agree. All things are possible with Sarah! We must move forward not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.
