Who thinks Kristol told her to do this?

Posted on 07/03/2009 1:44:52 PM PDT by cdchik123

I've heard that Bill Krisol has been informally (or maybe formally) advising Sarah Palin for a while now. Does it seem like possibly Kristol gave her some advice for 2012?

The thing is, if Kristol predicts 90 degree weather I grab my jacket.

edit: I flipped to msnbc and it says that sources are telling andrea mitchell that Palin is out of politics for good. But then again, it is nbc...

Andrea Mitchell is a beltway Lib Dem hack. She has been told to say Palin is over, no longer viable.

Sarah doesn’t need any advice from any inside-the-beltway jerks. She can think for herself. *sheesh*

Andrea Mitchell is still hearing the echoes from the balloon drop at the Republican Convention. :-) Sarah may or may not be finished, however, I trust nothing LSDNC or anyone in any way affiliated with them has to say. Her brother certainly didn’t give the impression she was “out” for good.

It seems plausible, listening to Kristol on Foxnews.

Nope. As she said it was on her mind for some time and her family supported her on this. She won't go away, but be key in moving Conservative Forces towards victory in 2010 and 2012.

Kristol is a shrewd guy and backed Palin from day one (in fact he met her even before). She will be the rallying point.

I don’t think so. Kristol seemed very shocked at the announcement. Or, he’s one of the best actors, ever.

Bill Kristol? I think Jesus told her to do it.

She was quite clear that upon consulting her family, they were unanimously supportive. Apparently the attacks on an innocent Down's Syndrome child were too much. She has the moral duty to protect her children, and she was wise enough to know that our society has descended to the point that there will be no opprobium attached to people so vile they will attack a baby.

Your tagline reminded me, Sarah obviously has aspirations, as she has SarahPac. :) I hope she doesn’t get discouraged from the National scene, but, I wouldn’t fault her if she did.

You know that Colonel Obama and his minions are behind the attacks on Sarah ... This takes the hate off that.

I saw Kristol the other day on FNC and he was very positive on Sarah ...

Time will tell.

Ah the ubiquitous “unamed sources” again.

Her statement that “I look forward to helping others – to fight for our state and our country, and campaign for those who believe in smaller government, free enterprise, strong national security, support for our troops, and energy independence”, doesn’t sound like someone who plans on staying out of politics. It sounds like someone who intends to spend next year campaigning for Republican candidates and building support for a 2012 run.

He was on Fox News reacting to this and he seemed pretty shocked by it.

No, she’s her own woman. And it’s too soon to see how this will work out. But I must say that I don’t see this as helping her chances to be POTUS.

I will say that I think she would make a great POTUS, but that she would have had to fight the Democrats AND the Republicans AND the press to get there.

Well, we’ll see.

When it comes to PRINCIPLE AND POLICY, this lady needs NO ADVICE from anyone. She is an American — a REAL AMERICAN. She knows exactly who and what the MSM is, and who the MSM works for.

She can make her own news, and she does not have to stand up and CONSTANTLY LIE to set an agenda. A real refreshing change from the lying trash that is controlling Washington and the MSM.
