I posted on another thread that I hope there hasn’t been a serious threat on her and her family.

She has had to endure more personally and about her family.

She is the only one I care for in 2012.

I just remembered that all the ethics complains being hurled at her, which nearly bankrupted her family thanks to DemonRat ankle-biters, have no choice but to STOP if she isn’t the Governor.

Personally, I would have told the world to f*** off and die for the way she and her family have been treated.

The GOP is at fault for not defending her even a little bit and in many ways stabbed her in the back

Don't blame her one bit, life is too short to live everyday with the most slimy, lowlife sleaze balls treating her and her family lower than snake dropping

The terrorists’ enablers and sympathizers (Democrats) have succeeded in pushing out a good, strong, conservative governor.

Knowing what I know now (she may have other reasons), I think she should stay and be a successful governor...this is a damn shame.

May not be the smartest move on her part... but then again...

Great move and she can concentrate on the Presidency. This is brilliant and may run for Senate in 10.

Pray for America

I'm having mixed opinions on this.

Every time she steps out of the state for a fundraising event, she's accused of ignoring the needs of Alaska.

Every time she attends a local Alaskan event, she's slapped with a frivolous ethics complaint designed to ruin her financially.

She may have seen staying in the governship as a lose-lose position for her. However, nobody likes a quitter and she still has to establish her bona fides. It's harder to maintain credibility without the authority of something like a governship to draw on.

If for family reasons, I hope all works out and God bless er.

If for running for President, a bad move for Palin will be labeled a quitter.

So Ms. Palin is now out for 2012.

In no way should we support someone who spent 3 years as governor and then left office in the face of slight adversity and rumors in a Vanity Fair article. That is not leadership at all

Sanford out

Palin out

Ensign out

Making the job easier for who to select in 2012.

Folks, she is the Governor of Alaska, which is far away from the lower 48, including Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. If she’s going to be our next president, she has to start campaigning NOW!! She isn’t a do-nothing like BHO, who votes “present” and never shows up to work. Plus, being a governor is different from senator. She can’t do both, so she had to make a choice!! I think it’s BRILLIANT!!

Well, I don’t see this as a political move. Resigning will not help her be president. She and her husband have a family fishing business and other interests. She may just have decided that she’s sick of taking on all these corrupt attacks from both parties, constant lawsuits, and constant attacks by the press in Alaska as well as nationally.

She would have been a great president as well as a great governor, but it’s also not clear whether the losers who are still running the party would ever have permitted that to happen. They are jealous of her. They hate her for showing them up for what they are.

So, it looks like we’re back to square one. Even if Obama finally gets as unpopular as he deserves to be, which is not all that certain to happen, the Republicans can be relied on to do even worse, unless some sort of miracle happens. They’ve been practicing that “race to the bottom” for a long time, with occasional interludes of sense that never seem to last very long.

I'm betting this is to make a national move. If there was some kind of scandal we would already know about it because the left would be running each other over to be the first to report it.

No scandal.

She's fully in the 2012 Presidential race.

Picture this: BO’s unfavorable poll numbers increasing as the economy continues cratering. Sarah launches her campaign for president this fall, drawing magnificent, boisterous crowds of conservatives who needed just this dose of encouragement and real hope. I like it!!!

My guess is that since Zero won’t give the defense missiles to her or Alaska, she’s getting out of Dodge!
