[history]
The Obama administration worked in recent days to prevent President Manuel Zelaya's ouster, said a senior U.S. official. The State Department, in particular, communicated to Honduran officials on the ground that President Barack Obama wouldn't support any nondemocratic transfer of power in the Central American country.

“We call on all parties in Honduras to respect the constitutional order and the rule of law, to reaffirm their democratic vocation, and to commit themselves to resolve political disputes peacefully and through dialogue,” Clinton said in a statement.
Does the idiot running the State Department even realize that’s exactly what has already happened in Honduras?
Forgive me, it’s a rhetorical question since I know the real agenda is propping up an unconstitutional Marxist regime down there and not respecting constitutional order and the rule of law.

Im sure she and Millstone know whats going on.Which makes their reaction all the more frightening.
I wasn't really being sarcastic, nor was it rhetorical ... I can't come up with the proper tone of my post, but assuredly, you are correct. As papabear points out later here:
As was thoroughly hashed out on this thread, the Honduran Supreme Court declared that the President was acting illegally and ordered his arrest. The military did not act on its own independent initiative.
Yes, Califreak, truly frightening, especially in view of what may be coming down the pike.

What I can’t figure out is if the military arrested him at gunpoint then how the heck did he end up free in Costa Rica?
Something doesn’t pass muster in all this.

Well, the upside of having a totally neutered foreign policy is that even Honduras doesn’t give a crap about our opinion.

Well, if that the case, Obama was once again a miserable failure. I guess the Constitutionalists in Honduras said FUBO.
