"Cashill has been flogging this story forever

Its not groundbreaking. It is aside entertainment"

Oh - I see you have a lot in common with 'The One'. Who knew that YOU are a prophet who can reveal the truth to us.

That the public will not care one iota, about what you call 'entertainment', remains to be seen.

How is this defense of Obama? Explain your logic.

Obama is an idiot savant whose only talent is to read well.

Otherwise Hussein's cranium is vacuous, perfect for dark powers to take America and enslave it.

Bill Ayers penning words for Obama has all the impact of a wet noodle, and Obama is happy for us to persue that angle of attack.

With this I agree.

But what do you think we should pursue? Does it help to discuss what flavor of ice cream he likes? The entire persona created for this man is a fraud. His book is a small part of that fraud which might enable some to see the bigger picture.

I think we should attack him on his lack of defending the constitution.

Indeed he is usurping it

"I have other things to do."

Apparently, you don't.

I am trying to get you off of WND conspiracy stuff and focused in the facts.

The "WND conspiracy stuff" is nothing but facts. Your dismissal of them does not change that.

Action is meaningful. Telling storys is entertainment at best, and in this case a diversion from action.

Considering this just "telling stories", and by implication "fairy tales", is another attempt to downplay the importance of the likelihood that Bill Ayers wrote Dreams of my Father. If you can't see the implication of that lie I will dismiss anything else you say. (Not much of a threat as I will likely dismiss anything you say anyway.) Look at all the hullabaloo raised over cases of partial plagiarism and consider what lying about an entire book would mean.

Spending time writing this (Cashill) and reading it (us) in no way interferes with plans of action. We can easily do both.

For me, just your attempt to discourage our being aware of this information and then poo pooing it suggests you may be one of the many subtle liberal moles on FR.

One thing that comes to mind from all this is the fact that Obama lets himself be used to an extent that is ulitmately self-destructive.

In allowing Ayers to write Dreams, Obama is forfeiting his integrity, and his identity, at the deepest level.

In fact, by allowing Ayers, Soros and whoever else to use him, Obama twists the blade of racism—that tool most carefully concealed by Ayers, and that which connects Ayers and his kind most intimately with nazis, communists, klansmen and all other tyrants—just as Ayers plunges it into his guts.

(By this I mean Ayers’ terrorism/activism has always been an outlet for a heart that secretly yearns for everything hateful—such as racism—and tinged with the stench of death. Think of this: is it from respect or from scorn for another that a person authors a book for him and then tells him to fake that authorship for himself?)

What, when, who, where, why & how.

It would be nice - just once - if one of these guys could just tell the story.

It's not that Obama lied about having a ghostwriter, it's that he lied about the nature of his association with Ayers, who was "just another guy in the neighborhood."

And then, that ghostwritten book was the credential that got him into Chicago politics, and Chicago politics got him into the Senate, and the Senate got him the White House.

Has anyone been able to read his college papers? Have they been researched, not for plagiarism, but for authorship?

There are few papers to be found, but Cashill included them in this research. It's either in this main article or in the earlier one linked from it.

I would say that respect and scorn represent two fundamental and opposite attitudes toward humankind, life itself and ultimately God as held by conservatives and liberals.

Guess which is held by the liberals?

“Obama’s lack of achievement prior to and since his HLS stint are in keeping with a smart but not brilliant man who, like Adam Smith’s capitalist, has been propelled as if by an invisible hand.”

Wasn’t it the Saudi influence that got him into Harvard in the first place?

Obama certainly wasn't on course to graduate Magna after his first year because he didn't make the Review on grades.

I know that HLR has AA appointments, but I've not seen it specified how Obama made law review, whether it be by grades, AA, or writing competition.

Do you have a source for how Obama made Law Review?

If Obama didn't have the first year grades to make Law Review, then even if he had all A's for the next two years, it wouldn't be sufficient to make the top 5% of the class.

For example, first year GPA 3.5, years two and three 4.0, final GPA: 3.83. That isn't going to be better than 19 of 20 students.

I think Obama was awarded Magna on the basis of his AA HLR, then his election to President of the HLR. For the HLS faculty, it would be an glaring inconvenient truth for the President of the HLR to graduate without any honors, so honors he was going to have. As long as they were conjuring honors out of nothing, they might as well give him the Magna otherwise commensurate with being President of the HLR.

I find this scenario a lot more plausible than the Obama we know to have the transcendent brilliance and expend the epic effort it would have required to graduate Magna from HLS.

Why would this Ayers thing amount to a hill of beans?

The fact that you're still here after more than 12 hours and 287 replies tells me and others that you know why it might amount to more than a 'hill of beans'.

Why don't you tell us your theory about why?
