House to continue Energy Bill Debate with Possible Vote Today
Later today, the House will continue general debate on the American Clean Energy & Security Act, Pres. Obama's climate change legislation. The bill centers on a renewable electicity standard, encouraging the use of renewable energy and a cap-and-trade policy.

Yeah, I keep thinking, all these Democrat reps from districts which are not inner-city, or tree-hugging coastal areas, there’s no way they can vote for this thing. But it looks like they will.
I doubt we’ll stop this in the Senate. Who’s going to stop it? Arlen Specter? Olympia Snowe?

She's absolutely right. Of course she's the only one to say “tyranny”. Most people don't know what that means. I guess when people get a certified letter in the mail saying they're being fined $500 because they failed to register and file the requisite paperwork for their fireplace, they'll find out.

I still can’t get an answer from Congressman Petri, RINO from Wisconsin on how he will vote on this. If he votes yes I will spend every last dime and every last minute I have on this earth making sure he will NEVER be re-elected or serve in any government capacity again.

i hope we all remember that if our rep votes the wrong way, we need to remind him/her/it that we won’t be forgetting and that a lot of effort and money has now gotten pledged to his/her/its opponent next time. i think it’s always good, too, to add, “and i sure hope you’ve never done anything you’d mind having made public.” calls before the vote are good, but calls afterward reminds them that it’s the price they keep on paying.
Sounds like the Dems are creating a frankenstein monster of tax and regulation fed by a wall street ponzi scheme. They think they’re geniuses- or advanced on the evolutionary chart. I think they’re lunatics, and this monster they’ve created is going to be hated by the town folks and eventually hunted down with torches and pitchforks.
