Just say NO to the Cap n Trade bill! Congress is trying to pass Capitol Switchboard: 202-224-3121 or 800-828-0498
WE MUST ACT NOW! THIS BILL WILL BE DEVASTATING FOR OUR COUNTRY. THIS BILL NEEDS TO BE DEFEATED! PLEASE ACTIVATE YOUR PING LIST, EMAIL LIST, FACE BOOK, TWITTER OR ANY OTHER WAY TO MAKE THIS KNOWN. Call Congress. Please be active as I have said before, the left is. Emails for this and health care are going out, their base has been activated to get it passed. We need to get it STOPPED!
Won’t happen, people in MI haven’t understood economics for decades.
I’ve emailed all members of Repub Women’s Club to call this Congresswoman ASAP.
My email would not ‘go through’ cause I didn’t belong to a Fla Congressman’s District. This drives me crazy.
When I call I tell them their vote affects ALL of us!!
Pinging ya’ll to hoosiermama’s list of congresscritters to call to try to get them to vote NO on the Cap and Trade vote taking place today!
Was surprised to see Petrie (R -WI) on the list. Just called his office and was told he has not made a decision yet, as he has a lot of issues to consider. This is just amazing. Big news story in the Fox Valley today is Mercury Marine (Big Fond du Lac employer) is thinking of closing down and moving to OK. Petries office is less than 2 miles from that Mercury plant
I will. Thanks for making it easier with the handy numbers!

From [Iain Murray]
It not like it is an entitlement that will be hard to undue, and when everyone has to start paying 2 or 3 times more for gas, electricity, water, and everything else under the sun the democrats will be blamed universally and be thrown out of office in 2010. At which point this can be easily repealed to an avalanche of praise from everyone.
The KEY and this is CRITICAL is that the democrats are seen as pushing this through over the objections of republicans, that way blaim can be squarely placed on the liberal idiots.
oops I’m slippin....thanks
Just got off the phone with my rep.’s DC office (Lincoln Davis - Dem - TN04).
She said he will vote no. Her tone was not so friendly. I took this to mean she’s been spending a lot of time answering the phone.
Keep it up!!!
Start dialing, Wisconsin! :)

Waxman-Markey American Clean Energy and Security Act (ACES) H.R. 2454
The House Rules Committee met at 2:50 a.m. ET and agreed that a debate would occur on the floor later today for at least three hours. This step was delayed for hours as senior leaders met to work out details following a struggle to line up enough votes. The final step is a vote today. 218 votes are needed to pass the Bill. Democrats hold 256 seats, but a number of the party's ranks have said they will vote "no" out of concern over the effect on their regions.
FlAttorney and two other partners from our law firm left for D.C. Thursday morning to arm twist for No votes. His brother's Houston based law firm sent five partners and attorneys. Many other GOP related law firms have done the same. The latest information is the House Democrats do not have the votes necessary to pass ACES. But, in high stakes politics this means nothing.

Joe, would you mind pinging the missouri list?
