JMKirnan ~ They run for political office, and WIN.
That hurt.
If a person has the ability to put aside whatever thoughts/accusations others might have made...
He was a huge, huge talent.
Most here are probably younger than I and can’t remember watching a greasy haired Dick Clark on American Bandstand introducing a high pitched singing group belting out “ABC”, or whatever they were doing at the time.
This was the pinnacle of Motown. Diana Ross was out there. So was Gladys Knight.
He has a HUGE catalog of songs and videos. Few of them could come on the air these days without the people hearing it thinking back to what they were doing when they first heard it.
These days, some gal can record a couple songs, and the next thing you know she’s the best thing since sliced bread. Kinda over the top, IMHO.
No one else could have done what Jackson did.
No one.
Sky dancer’s talkin’ ‘bout you...
I miss Warren Zevon. I won’t miss Jackson.
So was OJ
In 1993, Michael Jackson was accused of abuse by Evan Chandler, on behalf of his then-13-year-old child, Jordan Chandler. Jackson and Jordan had become friends in May 1992, to the father's disapproval and concern. The friendship became well known, as the tabloid media reported that Jackson became a member of the Chandler family unit.........Chandlers son said that Jackson had touched his penis...Jordan Chandler then told a psychiatrist and later police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation, and oral sex, as well as giving a description of what he alleges were the singer's genitals.
Jackson's older sister, La Toya Jackson, accused her brother of being a pedophile, but later retracted her statement.Jackson became dependent on drugs as the stress of the allegations mounted, and canceled the remainder of his tour. He went into rehabilitation overseas, and began a relationship with Lisa Marie Presley. On his return to the US, Jackson agreed to a 25-minute strip search, which was required to see if the description of his genitals provided by Jordan Chandler was accurate. Doctors concluded that there were some strong similarities but it was not a definitive match. Jackson proclaimed his innocence, and criticized the media coverage. Jackson's friends and legal advisers took over his defense and finances, persuading him to settle the allegations out of court.
Public polls at the time reported that a large majority of people believed Jackson was innocent. On January 1, 1994, Jackson settled a civil suit out of court with the Chandler family and their legal team for $22 million. Jordan Chandler refused to testify in the criminal proceedings, the state closed its criminal investigation citing lack of evidence, Jackson was not charged with a crime. Jackson's support amongst the public then began to waver...
Oh really? Like who?
Michael Jackson news coverage is a convenient distraction that is being taken advantage of by a lot of Democrats. It’s all so boring, all the accolades for a pervert.

He’s being given accolated because of his music and charity work.
‘accolades’
Thank you! I don’t—God has blessed me real good here! No one can take that joy away! :*)
Most sincerely?? ;-)
Thank you! :*) I think so too, but I’m biased in that area, LOL! ;-)
Are you fishing for an answer? ;-)
Look matey, this Jackson wouldn’t “voom” if you put four thousand volts through it! It’s bleedin’ demised!
This is an EX-Jackson!
They’re down to the Jackson 4.
OTOH, they may be disappointed that we’re not seeing Mark Sanford and his girlfriend 24/7.
So, a few words would have been enough. The man was a criminal pederast who set a terrible example. He was able to buy his way out of the prosecution, but you shouldn’t be able to buy your way out of public condemnation. The news coverage is offensive.
