Had Americans been able to stop obsessing over the color of Barack Obama's skin and instead paid more attention to his cultural identity, maybe he would not be in the White House today. The key to understanding him lies with his identification with his father, and his adoption of a cultural and political mindset rooted in postcolonial Africa.
TY Lucy. Very nice job!
It is absolutely incredible how much POTUS looks like Malcolm X!!! Those photos are just plain eerie!
Re the photos and captions of Obama using taxpayer dollars to campaign for Odinga in Kenya in ‘06 — we should somehow get this plastered on billboards all over the US between now and ‘12.
...on second thought — get Glenn Beck to put this up on a large bulletin board on his show —
The End of African Socialism?
By George B.N. Ayittey - 1990 article
In most places in Africa, telephones don’t work; they bite back. What are called “roads” are cartways truncated with crevasses large enough to swallow a truck. Vehicles move in a crab-like fashion: pointing sideways but moving perfec tly straight. These, in short are a few of the manifestations of the deepening crisis gripping Africa.
Once a region with bountiful stores of optimism and hope, the African continent now teeters perilously on the brink of economic disintegration, political chaos, and institutional and social decay. The decline in income per capita has been calamitous for many African countries.
Agricultural growth has been dismal, with output growing at less than 1.5 percent since 1970. Industrial output across Africa has also been declining, with some regions experienc-ing de-industrialization. Export volumes for many African countries have faltered, leading to a fall in Africa’s share of world markets by almost half. To maintain income and investment, African governments borrowed heavily in the 1970s. Total African foreign debt has risen nineteen-fold since 1970 to a staggering $230 billion, equal to its Gross National Product (GNP), making the region the most heavily indebted of all (Latin America’s debt amounts to around 60 percent of GNP). Debt service obligations absorbed 47 percent of export revenue in 1988, but only half were actually paid. The arrears are constantly being rescheduled. With scarce foreign exchange increasingly being devoted to service debt obligations, less became available for imports of spare parts, drugs, textbooks, and other essential supplies. Infrastructure began to crumble for lack of maintenance. Roads started to deteriorate and telephones refused to work. Even hospitals in many African countries had no running water. At the Akomfo Anokye Hospital in Ghana, patients were asked to bring their own bandages, blankets, and food. “Harvard” in Ruins. Educational facilities soon began to disintegrate.
Makerere University in Uganda, once called “The Harvard of Africa,” is now in total ruins. The University of Ghana at Legon, once a world-class institution, has not seen a single coat of fresh paint since the colonialists left in the fifties. In sub-Saharan Africa (or black Africa), the economic deterioration has been so severe that this region now has the dubious distinction of being home to 24 of the world’s 36 poorest nations. Economic performance of this region, measured crudely by the rate of growth of income per capita, has been pathetic, as the following table indicates...

(others finally catching on)
Citing a recent Forbes article by Dinesh DSouza, former House speaker Newt Gingrich tells National Review Online that President Obama may follow a Kenyan, anti-colonial worldview.
Gingrich says that DSouza has made a stunning insight into Obamas behavior the most profound insight I have read in the last six years about Barack Obama.
What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? Gingrich asks. That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.
This is a person who is fundamentally out of touch with how the world works, who happened to have played a wonderful con, as a result of which he is now president, Gingrich tells us.
I think he worked very hard at being a person who is normal, reasonable, moderate, bipartisan, transparent, accommodating none of which was true, Gingrich continues. In the Alinksy tradition, he was being the person he needed to be in order to achieve the position he needed to achieve . . . He was authentically dishonest.
[Obama] is in the great tradition of Edison, Ford, the Wright Brothers, Bill Gates he saw his opportunity and he took it, Gingrich says. Will Gingrich take it back in 2012? The American people may take it back, in which case I may or may not be the recipient of that, but I have zero doubt that the American people will take it back. UnlikeFord, the Wright Brothers, et cetera, this guys invention did not work.
I think Obama gets up every morning with a worldview that is fundamentally wrong about reality, Gingrich says. If you look at the continuous denial of reality, there has got to be a point where someone stands up and says that this is just factually insane.
Obama, the African Colonial
. . . . Way behind and catching up (again.) - Bookmarked.
To newcomers: Many photos and articles throughout this thread.
“Ann Soetoro moved to Yogyakarta, while Obama Jnr. studied in Jakarta.”
http://wtpotus.wordpress.com/2010/11/15/indonesian-writer-exposed-obamas-birthplace/
Interesting timeline there, “while Obama Jnr. studied in Jakarta.” I’m not clear on who the author is or the source of the information, but if it’s true then that could be why he was shipped back to the Dunhams. Yogyakarta is 265 miles away from Jakarta further proving Ann was more interested in her causes than being a mother to the boy. It seems she carted Maya around with her but did she raise Maya or did a servant?
thanks for that, but when I tried to read the article, my computer closed down. Don’t know if it’s safe to try again...
However, the information doesn’t surprise me, if she was really his mother, then the lengths they went to with photoshopped images, to convince us they were in Indonesia together...would not have been necessary imo.
Sorry. Here’s the original link to the above #747. I haven’t searched but Indonesian Matters might have more on him:

'Obama, who has been away from Kenya for seven years...'
Dated June 22, 1962.
BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA ONYANGO LEFT KENYA IN 1954-55 IN HIS OWN WORDS.
MBOYA 1955 - 1956
Mboya became a prominent figure in Kenyan politics - organising protests against mass removals, detention camps, and secret trials. The British Labour Party arranged for a year’s scholarship (1955—56) to Oxford University, studying industrial management at Ruskin College. By the time he returned to Kenya the Mau Mau rebellion had been effectively quashed. Over 10,000 Mau Mau rebels were estimated to have been killed during the disturbance, compared to just over 100 Europeans.
MBOYA 1957
In 1957 Mboya formed the People’s Convention Party and was elected to join the colony’s legislative council (Legco) as one of only eight African members. He immediately began to campaign (forming a bloc with his African colleagues) to demand equal representation — and the legislative body was reformed with 14 African and 14 European delegates, representing over 6 million Africans and almost 60,000 whites respectively.
MBOYA 1958 - 1959 - 1960
In 1958 Mboya attended a convention of African nationalists at Accra, Ghana. He was elected chairman and declared it “the proudest day of my life.” The following year he received his first honorary doctorate, and helped set up the African-American Students Foundation which raised money to subsidise the cost of flights for East African students studying in America. In 1960 the Kenya African National Union, KANU, was formed from the remnants of the KAU and Mboya elected secretary-general.

NOW WE CAN SEE THAT THE TEACHER AT THE MASENO SCHOOL WAS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT WHEN BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA ONYANGO LEFT KENYA.
Aah so .. thank you. WND has it as well.

excerpt:
Why didn’t dad mention us?
Barack Obama Jr. comments in “Dreams from My Father” with disappointment that his father never mentioned his mother or him in the Honolulu newspapers.
In a passage on pages 26-27, Obama says that when he was in high school he found, folded away, his birth certificate and old vaccination forms. He also said he discovered a clipping of an article published about his father in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
Most likely the article is the one presented above.
“No mention is made of my mother or me, and I’m left to wonder whether the omission was intentional on my father’s part, in anticipation of his long departure,” Obama wrote.
“Perhaps the reporter failed to ask personal questions, intimidated by my father’s imperious manner; or perhaps it was an editorial decision, not part of the simple story that they were looking for. I wonder too, whether the omission caused a fight between my parents.”
In the autobiography, Obama does not answer what is posed as a rhetorical question.
~~~~~~~~~~
Indeed .. one of my many eternal questions:
who’s your daddy?
Who's your mother? Why are there no images of 'the parents' together until the airport images from 1971, and why are there no images of the mother and child until zero is around two years of age?
Makes one wonder...doesn't it? Just when did Stanley Ann first show up in Hawaii?
AND WHO WAS ANNA OBAMA?
Why was Mark, the son of Ruth and Barak Hussein Obama Onyango the ONLY one who could could prove his parentage and therefor inherit, when the old man was killed? Why did 'granny Sarah' tell the children of Kezia NONE OF YOU ARE HIS CHILDREN!?
Mboya joined Kenyatta's party, the Kenya Africa Union, and served as its acting treasurer until the organization was banned by the British in 1953. With open political action made virtually impossible, Mboya worked for the same ends through the labor movement, especially through the Kenya Federation of Labour; he was its secretary general from 1953 to 1963. This work brought him into the orbit of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions. In 1958 Mboya was elected to its board, and he became an increasingly well-known member to the European and American supporters of the confederation. Within Kenya he gained his first general fame for his role in the Mombasa dock strike of 1955, where his involvement helped the workers to gain a 33 percent pay raise. Realizing his need for more education, Mboya attended Ruskin College, Oxford, in 1955 for a year's study.
So we see that in the very same year that the son of the kenyan goat-herder departed Kenya at the age of 19, Mboya went to England to study at Oxford. Anyone trying to connect these two people in a friendship that led to the student airlift which commenced THREE MONTHS AFTER the kenyan goat-herder's son landed in Hawaii, LET ALONE his employment with the government of Kenya on his return...is really handing out a very LONG rope a dope IMO.
And no proud papa pics with pregnant wife ..
FOR THE RECORD:
Mboya DID NOT give the son of a kenyan goat-herder a job; when he returned to Kenya HE WORKED FOR AN OIL COMPANY.
The 75-year-old adds he knew Obama Sr when he worked for BP/Shell in Nairobi.
One of his friends was President Kibaki. One day when I was walking with him in Nairobi, Kibaki, then the Minister for Finance stopped his car next to us and offered him a lift, says Tolo.
He adds: The President rode with him to his office and I am told that was the day he got a job in the Treasury as an economist.
http://www.politicalarticles.net/blog/tag/wuod-akumu-nyanjoga/
Kibaki was previously Vice President of Kenya for ten years from 19781988 and also held cabinet ministerial positions, including a widely acclaimed stint as Minister for Finance (19691981), Minister for Home Affairs (19821988) and Minister for Health (19881991).[1]
There are other sources that place his employment with the government of Kenya commencing 1970. In any event, it could NOT have been before Kibaki became Minister for Finance in 1969.
WIKI:
Thomas Joseph Odhiambo Mboya (August 15, 1930 - July 5, 1969) was a prominent Kenyan politician during Jomo Kenyatta’s government. He was founder of the Nairobi People’s Congress Party, a key figure in the formation of the Kenya African National Union (KANU), and the Minister of Economic Planning and Development at the time of his death.
Mboya was assassinated on July 5, 1969 in Nairobi.
...the only way the people whom we are expected to believe are the parents could have produced progeny is if artificial insemination was the instrument of pregnancy...
