Ed Shultz is a sickening sack of sanctimonious moral superiority. Look at the hatred on his face... this picture tells all.

What bothers me most is Ed Schultz is a strident defender of Democrats who have affairs.. but for some reason he would have us believe Sanford’s case should be treated differently. It’s much worse in his opinion... right.

I agree with you, Sanford is a dirtbag. However, I wonder if expecting moral behavior from our politicians is hurting the bigger cause of conservatism. Id like to have both morals and sound policy, but maybe we shouldnt expect it anymore.

I think Sanford ought to be hammered. He threw away a chance to be presidential candidate just so he could satisfy carnal desire. His irresponsibility in this affair is beyond belief. He ought to resign and go back to peddling insurance or being a shyster; he certainly is not fit to govern even a small town.

The “culture of corruption” that Nancy Pelosi so joyfully exploited a couple of years ago, made me suspect that the Democrats had hired detectives to find dirt on the Republicans. In politics, timing is everything.

Ed Schultz revels in Sanford’s misery ping to Today show list.

Don't be stooopid.

If ya throw out a piece of raw meat, ya better expect flies to land on it.

If these government parasites want to live corrupt celebrity like lifestyles, they'd better expect the bad press.

You think they'd hold back?

get real

When they kept asking where is he I said to my wife why do they keep harping on about this all the time.

You are kidding right? A sitting governor disappears, not from us but from his security and his government role, even his staff has no idea where he is, his abandoned state security vehicle is found at an airport, no cell phone contact, fathers day family left alone, wife doesn't know where he is, has no contact with him, you don't think that this is one of the freakiest political mysteries of your life, especially when we find out that he wasn't hiking when a reporter catches him at the Atlanta airport coming in from Argentina.

I don’t remember if Edwards called a press conference to announce his infidelity.

Don’t you just love it when Democrats call Republicans “mean spirited”.

No sympathy for him, but much for his wife, especially after reading his love e-mails to Marie(?). The e-mail I read was dated last summer, July, I think, so wondering if this is what knocked him out of the running for McCain’s VP pick.

He’s right.

Sanford is a low-life.

Who is next?

There is one more to add to the list. I forgot the guys name but he replaced Mark Foley. He ran on a clean government platform and was caught in an adulterous affair. I believe this happened shortly after the Eliot Spitzer affair.

The liberal hypocrisy makes me angry.

Damn near as much as the Republican political hypocrisy pi$$ed me off to the point of becoming a conservative instead of a Republican.

THE TWO PARTIES ARE ONE IN THE SAME!

Politics over conviction for country.

It never ends, politically.

True sanford has misery, but really nobody to blame but himself. Any governor that is arrogant enough to pull this kind of stunt in office deserves everything he gets. Just like McGreedy did in NJ. Maybe other governors will think twice next time.

I’m starting to think there’s something dirtier here than a couple of republicans screwing around on their wives.

I'm with you cripplecreek.

How could Sanford not have known his disappearance and subsequent admission of infidelity would drive all other news off the airwaves at a time the Democrats are poised to tax us into oblivion with the Carbon Tax bill and their Healthcare boondoogle and the continuing policies of 0bama driving up our debt.

The timing of everything is very suspect.

I wonder what Sanford is going to get by so thoroughly destroying his career and driving the news cycle.

I don’t remember if Edwards called a press conference to announce his infidelity.

He took it to court and talked it down via a plea agreement. ; )
