We didn’t demand that Vitter resign, and Vitter really has a good voting record.

Too bad Romney doesn’t hold political positions I agree with.

My problem was leaving the state for five days with no one knowing where he was and changing stories. Not shocked it turned out to be an affair. How could you ever trust a Governor that just disappeared? That is what has bothered me from Day One.

I don’t argue he has not done good politically he’s just proved himself to be another dishonest politician.

One of my co-workers asked me tauntingly if Sanford was a republican. I said he must be. Afterall, he admitted his wrongdoing.

I agree. The lying is what bothers me the most.

Was he on a big public anti-marital-infidelity crusade I havent heard of? He's more libertarian on social issues outside of abortion, so this isn't Henry Hyde's youthful indescretion.
It's still a real bad screw-up, and until now, he was my first choice for 2012. I don't like this at all because it is a broken promise. If he wasn't married, more power to him. If he lied to his wife, what has he lied about to his constituents?
(sighs) Politics. I've seen a lot of good people fall into temptation and do bad things in this line of work. Firsthand.

Sanford is already term-limited by the state constitution to two terms. He’s out in January 2011.
(although I do agree with term limits)

I guess he thought no one would notice. Shows how blinded by lust or just how plain stupid he is.
Asking a person with morals to run for political office must be difficult. Why would they jump in a pool that is already full of pee?

If you walked off your job without telling your staff or your family where you were going...or even THAT you were going and stayed gone for a week, do you think youd have a job when you got back?Three days no call, no show is considered your resignation in most businesses.
