"Mark my words," Vice President Joe Biden told donors a few months before the election, "It will not be six months before the world tests Barrack Obama We're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he's going to need help to stand with him. Because it's not going to be apparent initially; it's not going to be apparent that we're right."
One could easily have said the same thing about American Jews and their relationship with Israel. It is being severely tested. As it turns out, Israel is indeed the focus of U.S. pressure and bullying. The threat to peace in the Middle East, says our current administration, emanates not from Hamas, Hezbollah, Jihad or Arab nationalism, but from Israel. The U.S. is casting Israel in the classic Jewish role of scapegoat, blaming her for all of the region's problems.
President Obama has embraced the ever-ready and willing State Department's negativity towards Israel and, with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leading the way, is making demands about Israeli 'settlements' which are harsh and uncompromising. At the same time, State ignores Arab illegal construction which is happening on a much wider and broader scale. State conveniently ignores the fact that if land were truly the issue, Israel and her Arab neighbors would have been at peace for the last 60 years. Even though State has always been biased against Israel, it has never had a Presidency to work with that was in such complete consonance with its views as the Obama Administration is today. The resulting bullying of Israel by the U.S. is without parallel in American-Israeli relations.

What Joe really meant to say was "before the world detests Barrack Obama"
Being liberal triumphs all else.
They knew he hated them and their homeland but they came out in droves to put him into office.
Up Obama’s butt.
There were some members of my extended family who voted for Barky (including some who are Jewish).
IMO they were hypnotized into believing (by Barky..."thank you Satan") that he was pro-Israel.
I don’t really think they’re Jews any more. Just guilt-ridden liberals.
Not all Jews consider Israel their homeland, both religious and non-religious Jews.
Non-religious Jewish Americans often simply don’t consider it significant, any more than say, someone with Scottish or Irish or German ancestors, cares about Scotish, Irish, or German politics.
There are plenty of non-zionist religious Jews in this world who deem a secular modern Israel to be an affront; man’s attempt to do something onl G-d should do -— bit like the spies and Moses, to use a familair story.
“IMO they were hypnotized into believing (by Barky...”thank you Satan”) that he was pro-Israel.”
I saw this, as well.
Lots of people simply drank the cool aid. They are well-meaning, but wrong.
I think this crowd is the majority, and will come around.
Obama is mainstream American Judaism’s Golden Calf.
“Anyone with any common sense or powers of deduction could have identified Obamas attitudes towards Israel and the Jews.”
Not so. If one only paid attention to the MSM, there was no negative coverage and using that information.
Many, many people do not track the news beyond the Daily Show.
I know that comes as a shock, but it’s true.
Once a marxist/socialist always a marxist socialist.
No matter the cost of the adherence to doctrine. The elites are quite convinced the consequences will always be on someone else’s head.
It would be good if Israel eventually promotes the idea of there someday being a Jewish equivalent of the Muslim Hajj. That is, when the Temple is rebuilt, that all “good” Jews must reaffirm their attachment to the religion, or in effect, stop being Jews.
This achieves any number of accomplishments. The first thing is that it ends the debate of “What is a Jew?” From that time forward, being a Jew is a designation of religion, not of ancestry or association.
It also means that Israel must redefine itself as either a Jewish state, or a secular state dominated by Jews who are on an equal footing with other religions, but may not remain so if outnumbered.
Very, very well said.
