Democrats on Sunday defended President Barack Obama's hands-off approach to the crisis in Iran, urging him to keep US "fingerprints" off the unfolding events despite pressure from Republicans for bolder US action...
... Feinstein and other Democrats, however, said Obama had struck the right balance between affirming the rights of protesters while staying out of an unfolding, unpredictable internal upheaval.
"It is very crucial, as I see it, that we not have our fingerprints on this. That this really be truly inspired by the Iranian people," Feinstein said.
"We don't know where this goes. And I sure wouldn't want to be responsible for thousands of people being killed, which is a distinct possibility," she said....

Ok Sen Feinstein your saying that if we do nothing then we bear none of the reponsibility for those people dying. Here that Jews, if we had kept our nose out of WWII it wouldn't been any of our fault that we just let Hitler slaughter you. Thats a very interesting way to look at diplomacy, just let the rest of the world go to cr@p, mass slaughter by dictators and mullahs is none my business.
(You Dems are really something else)

When the Iranian people succeed with their revolution they’ll remember who supported them and who stood on the sidelines waiting for the winner to show up....

The democrats are in big trouble on this issue(among others). That is why they sent out the troops today to spin, spin, spin.

The libtards in this country are scared crapless that folks here might get the impression that demonstrations can change things so it is important for them to continue to beat this drum that "protest won't work". It damn well can work, that is how we got our start over 200 years ago.

This country bears NO responsibility at all for protester's dying in Iran. Its ridiculous for folks to hate the USA for being the worlds cop but when we don't get involved its more ridiculous to claim we have responsibility for people getting killed by their own government..

The two things democrats can’t abide...democracy and the little people. Naturally they want nothing to do with either.

This is why the DemocRATS were confused when Ahnold sent them a set of brass bull testicles. The ‘RATS looked at them like a pig looking at a wrist watch. They are bright and shiny but the ‘RATS don’t know what they are used for.

The freedom to assemble and protest and rise against tyranny is part of America’s DNA. If we actually had an American president, there wouldn’t be all of the disgraceful hand-wringing that we’re seeing now.

I'm sorry, I have to disagree with you. We are the worlds largest and most powerful democratic nation and we are that because we are blessed by God.
If we do not strive to help other nations whether it be food and clothes in times of trouble or arms, intelligence or outright physical support then we are ignoring that blessing, hiding our talents as it were.
We should remember what happened to the servant whom hid his talents.

Giving false hope to the Iranian protesters through verbal support, when knowing no material support will be forth coming, would be akin to what happened to the Kurds after the 91 Gulf War. As much as I want to see democracy and good world citizenry established in Iran, the protesters are own their own. God's speed to each and every one of them.

By this position, 0 and the democrat party prove they have no sense of morality, no belief in democracy, and they are pure political opportunists. As ever, despicable cowards.

"Giving false hope to the Iranian protesters through verbal support, when knowing no material support will be forth coming, would be akin to what happened to the Kurds after the 91 Gulf War." Totally agree, but unlike then we do have an easier means of helping them through Iraq and Afghanistan, we could funnel arms through the Iraq, they are having a surplus of AK's now that they are switching to American made weapons and actually I'm sure that Iraq would be happy to do it.
If nothing else we could easily provide intelligence and communications tech to the Iranians.
Probably the easiest thing to provide and we could do it outright is medical supplies to the protesters or Iranian hospitals, that at least would have the added benefit of looking good politically.
