I looked up the meaning of “barack,” and depending on what website you get to, it’s:
Blessed
A blessing from God
Kneel
Lightning (Lightnin’? — that’s a bad one)
Smiter of Jews (???)
Mighty warrior (???)
And it comes from the Hebrew “Baruch.” It’s a common boy’s name in Kenya.
