And there is also the little matter of the birth certificate, which the doctor would have signed, and several hospital staff would have seen. The way that used to work was the mother would fill out an information form, the hospital staff would type it up, then the mother, doctor and hospital registrar would sign it. If the COLB is correct, it would indicate that the father was "African", IOW, Negro (the proper term at the time) or Black (the proper term a few years ago).
That is likely the case, although laws differ. Still an adoption cannot remove the US citizenship from a person. That can happen later after they get old enough to renounce their US citizenship, but just the fact of being adopted to a foreign country does not change one's citizenship under US law.
But this tale is easily verified, all he need do is authorize release of copies of his "long form" birth certificate, and the issue would go away.
He's already said that he was born there, and the release of the COLB gives the date. His expectation of privacy has just dropped to zero, so what is the issue keeping the original birth certificate from being revealed?

It was on his own website last year when running for President. The site was scrubbed long ago.
This was talked about here on Free Republic and at many other websites. Think about it. He was taken from Indonesia to Hawaii by his mother when 10-years old to live with his grandparents. His mother’s marriage to Lolo was disintergrating and little Barry started using the name “Barack Obama” at that time. When he went away to college in California one presumes he had no need to use a passport as he traveled between U.S. states and had a SSN (why the SSN has a Connecticutt prefix is ANOTHER mystery) and presumably a drivers license. He wouldn’t need a passport until he wanted to travel internationally.
I’m always surprised at how many people haven’t been interested in the contradictions inherent in this man’s background, and concerned about the many lies Barack Obama/Barry Soetoro has promulgated, not only about himself but others inside his own family.
I was born in OH in 1970, but lived in FL in 1986 when I applied for my SSN at the age of 16. I can’t remember if I applied because I needed a job or a driver’s license or both. It would be interesting to know when Obama’s SSN was issued so we could research what he was supposedly doing at that time in his life and why he was in Connecticut when he applied. Very curious indeed.
