Delivered 5,000 babies and THE ONE stands out?

Purportedly, Nelson had dinner with West the week that he delivered Obama. She asked him to tell her something interesting that happended that week. To which he responded that "Stanley" had a baby because a) it was odd for a woman to be named Stanley and b) Nelson's father's name was Stanley. It's not that Obama's birth stood out so many years later, just that it stood out the week Nelson had dinner with West.

With that said, it boggles my mind that this article wasn't written or published until well after the presidential election. Everybody who doesn't live on a rock and isn't using mind-altering substances knows that birthers were demanding to know the name of the physician who delivered Obama. So why didn't they publish this memory before the election to clear up that issue? Let me take a guess ... because Dr. West was still alive and could have refuted the story. He died in February 2009.

Yes. Totally false. See the 1981 U.S. State Department travel advisory for Pakistan in post #140. Note that it is only the text and not a link to the original document that is archived at NARA.

It still is not a valid Birth Certificate as far as the State Department is concerned.

Actually most "short form"/abstracts are. Hawaii's is. California's, Texas' and I think Georgia's are not. Different reasons in each case.

Still, they do not contain sufficient information to prove "natural born", and are very easily forged, since most have no official signatures, other than a simple stamp of the signature of the registrar from the state in question. Most "long form"/"vault"/"original" birth certificates contain parents' address, birthplaces, and a signature of one of them (usually the mother) as well as signatures from the attending doctor or nurse-midwife, and the hospital's registrar.

The reason they call Barry African on the Bogus Document is because he was born on the African continent, in Kenya.

The certification calls his father "African", not him. It has no "field" for the child's race.

The simple things too much for you? One provides proof when one makes a statement, such as...obama travelled to Pakistan on an indonesian passport....or...Americans could not travel to Pakistan in 1980.

That's how the world of adults works.

It's not, 'I'm making something up, prove it didn't happen or else my fable must be true'.

It's really pretty easy, just show the proof of what you say.

> Hawaii confirmed that they never released a copy of Obama’s COLB to anyone in June 2007.

That's the first time I've heard that as well.

> Check it out for yourself: the Seal on the reverse side does not match the one on the front side. It is one of several, new discoveries I've made after revisitng the Factcheck photographs.

Please elaborate.

You are an obvious Obama troll, and you use the typical ploy of misquoting and/or tearing down “straw man” arguments.

I don't recall ever saying that it was “impossible” for Obama to go to Pakistan, as a US Citizen.

I do recall that my link clear said it would have been EASIER for Obama to go to Pakistan under the passport of another country. I do say that we should demand his passport, to see what country Obama claimed to hail from, at the time he went to Pakistan.

Obama most definitely had an Indonesian passport, at one time. We need to see that passport, as well.

Um, yeah. Lightning or “Lahtnin’” was a derisive term for a lazy black person way back when. Like calling a fat guy “Tiny,” or my cat “Rocket.” That’s why I said it was a bad one, but maybe people don’t remember that old stuff anymore. It is to be hoped.

It was extremely easy for US citizens to travel to Pakistan in the period 1980-83.

Anyone who says otherwise is a liar, or deluded.

Was Obama born at Straub Clinic?

Almost surely, NO.

There are reports of investigators putting that question to hospital officials, who have yet to produce any documentation to the effect that he was. One can be almost certain that if the hospital did have a record of Obama's birth there, they would trumpet it to the world, both to address the constitutional eligibility issue and to give the hospital favorable publicity.

Incidentally, Stanley Ann Obama died at the Straub Clinic in 1995, according to an obit which appeared shortly after in the Honolulu Advertiser.

Supposedly, Dr. Rodney T. West delivered Obama. He died at the age of 98 in February 2009.

The Buffalo News story to which you linked was written on O's Anointment Day, Jan. 20, 2009. It indicated that Dr. West had died in February 2008.

The story about Dr. West delivering Obama presented there is almost certainly fabricated out of whole cloth. Supposedly the newspaper interviewed a woman who was a former teacher of Obama at his private Hawaii school. I could believe that the teacher could have remembered Obama as a student and as a basketball player, but the part about the doctor telling her on the Hawaii beach that he had just delivered baby named Barack Hussein Obama just sounds too contrived to be believed.

There's a possibility that O's henchmen located his former teacher, called her and arranged for her to be interviewed by the newspaper on Inauguration Day, and made up the story for her to tell to "prove" that O was born in Hawaii.

“...My granddaughter one year old had to have a pass port before traveling to London. The government will not accept a copy like Obama’s green certificate but you need the orginial that is completely filled out when applying for a US passport...Did he ever travel abroad before becoming a candidate?”

Yes, he did indeed travel abroad, and therein lies a mystery.

When Barack Obama was running for President, he said he had never possessed a U.S. passport prior to becoming a member of Congress.

He has never explained how, in 1981 when Barack (20-years old) and his Pakistani roommate from Occidental College traveled to Indonesia, Pakistan, and India, what did Barack use for a passport? And was it under the name Barack Obama or Barry Soetoro, his Indonesian name.

Many believe the BC locked in that vault in Hawaii is an adoption BC, from 1963/1964, when he was adopted by his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, prior to the Soetoro’s moving to Indonesia. On that BC would be the name Barry Soetoro.

In Indonesia, Barack Obama attended school registered as Barry Soetoro, son of Lolo Soetoro, and was listed as being an Indonesian citizen and Muslim.

Barry traveled back and forth to Hawaii with his mother, and in those days one’s children could travel on mom’s passport if listed thereon. (This information is second hand from an elderly neighbor who traveled extensively with her children in the 1960s.)

When Obama and roomie went to south Asia they stopped first in Indonesia for two weeks. I suspect Barry Soetoro applied for and was granted an Indonesian passport at that time. He would have been required to repudiate all other citizenships to acquire that Indonesian passport and on it would be his professed religion: Muslim.

There is no record in this country that Barry Soetoro ever legally changed his name to Barack Hussein Obama II. Such name changes are public records.
