WASHINGTON President Barack Obama says he has lost confidence in the inspector general who investigates AmeriCorps and other national service programs and has told Congress he is removing him from the position.
Obama's move follows an investigation by IG Gerald Walpin of Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, who is an Obama supporter and former NBA basketball star, into the misuse of federal grants by a nonprofit education group that Johnson headed....

but baseball is a finesse game, not for all. some folks need the crash and burn of the defensive and offensive line of a football game. I appreciate both....but soccer, basketball and Hockey leave me cold...especially the commie game of soccer.
Yep! - Teaches kids to accept unjust authority without complaint. Basketball is getting that way too.
One other thing to consider - many of the complaints that led to the IG investigation are rumored to have originated from the office of the former mayor in her attempt to kneecap Johnson before he formally announced his run.
It is the opinion of many around here that it was dirty democrat politics that started the whole mess.
