James Von Brunn’s writings don’t sound very “right-wing.”
On June 10, the nation tragically witnessed a memorial dedicated to commemorating an atrocity become the site of yet more death. Just before 1 p.m., longtime neo-Nazi James Wenneker Von Brunn entered the Holocaust Museum on the National Mall and opened fire in an attempt to complete the Final Solution his hero had left tentative, an omission Von Brunn dubbed “Hitler’s biggest mistake.” As former Defense Secretary Bill Cohen wandered the museum grounds, Von Brunn killed Stephen T. Johns, a black security officer, then was shot himself. As of this writing, the 88-year-old is in critical condition.
The white-wing fringe greeted the news with predictable joy. Its most popular website, Stormfront.org, saluted “White Racialist Treasure: James Von Brunn” in 2004; a thoughtful reader, seeing Von Brunn had backed up his recent threats with deadly action, wrote yesterday, “Definitely needs a bump today.” Another hoped the shooting would cause Americans to believe taking their children to Holocaust memorials is now “an insurance risk.”
Yet racists are not alone in their glee. Leftists have decided to exploit Von Brunn’s madness to engender fear of rampant conservative terrorism. They overlook one point: the shooter was not a conservative.
A review of his lengthy associations reveals Von Brunn hardly fits the stereotype of a Religious Right, GOP precinct captain. He denounced the Christian faith as a dastardly Jewish conspiracy, a “HOAX” invented by the Apostle Paul to “DESTROY ROMAN CULTURE” from within by undermining its pagan virility. Like others on the racist fringe, the shooter proclaimed clearly: “SOCIALISM, represents the future of the West.”

LGF has changed and not for the better. They bash courageous groups such as Vlams Beggan (sp) and smear Jewish heroine, Pamela Gellar. I think they also blasted Free Republic Shooting at Holocaust Museum in DC (LGF smears Free Republic Again). for letting a post or comment slip by -- I think about Obama's lack of a birth certificate.

I think along the lines of this, LGF blasted Vlams Beggan or Filip De Winter (sp), even though De Winter or someone at Vlams Beggan got beaten up for supporting Israel.
They're making out these people to be secret squirrel Nazis and it is both ridiculous and vicious.
The only difference is Obama is a black supremecists socialist and this guy was a white supremecist socialist.
For whatever reason, all socialists hate Jews (even atheist socialists like Stalin).
Hitler was a SOCIALIST...his LABOR PARTY was built on the premise that the people should work for the STATE. That is leftist. Period.

You're absolutely right, the hate community straddles both right and left, since the principles uniting them characterize neither. The test should be acceptance. From a political perspective, support from the hate community shouldn't be tolerated because of agreement on a few core issues, whether right or left. On that test I'd say the left is vurnerable. Haters aren't tolerated by the GOP, and rarely by credible political websites.
The LGF article says, “Here’s an article he wrote, posted at Free Republic.” It includes a link. FR is often high on the list of searches for anything conservative, and the Obama birth certificate controversy is one of these. They’re not saying anything about Free Republic, other than naming us as a source.

It turns out this guy is a neo-Nazi that hates Jews, Israel, Christianity (which he believes is a Jewish hoax), Republicans, believes that 9/11 was an inside job, etc. The mainstream media is still reporting that he’s a “right wing extremist”. In reality, he’s a “left wing extremist”. They’re doing a good job of hanging him around the necks of conservatives.

I am disgusted by the incessant media coverage and government attention to this one racist killer.
Not a fraction of the attention was given to Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad the Muslim killer who shot up the Arkansas military recruitment center and killed Pvt. William Long (RIP). It was hardly covered by the media and took a day to release the info that he was a Muslim jihadist.
One would think that 9/11 was caused by white racists not Muslim jihadists given the media focus. Welcome to the Obama Muslim world.
Von Brunn’s irrational, hateful anti-Semitism placed him directly in the same elite club as every liberal democrat in the US.
And it’s probably no coincidence that his murderous rampage followed by just one day Jeremiah Wright’s equally hateful rant against “them Jews,” which, I’m convinced, emboldened Von Brunn to act on their shared anti-Semitism.
