Shepard Smith's assault on Conservatives
I'm sure many of my readers were tuned into Fox News this afternoon between 2:30pm-4:00PM
I was stunned at the misguided comments of Shepard Smith regarding the Holocaust Museum shooting.
Smith was attempting to make a profound correlation between the shooting suspect James Von Brunn and those who publish websites that criticize Barack Obama.
One could say that this is subjective and Smith's accusations were really directed at people who are anti-semitic or calling for assassinations. However, Smith removed any “benefit of a doubt” we could have afforded him when he pointed at..."

There was no internet to speak of in '83 and Reagan was president, so what caused this guy to become unhinged then? An 88-year-old with obsessive-compulsive racist attitudes and at least a 30-year history of extremist obsessions goes nuts and conservatives who criticize Obama are to blame? More likely the president's European trip and deathcamp visit got him worked up. There are more psychotic incidents like this when there is a downturn in the economy and when the administration in power pushes extreme or controversial policies. But no one knows for certain what was going on in this guy's mind or what was different on a Wednesday from a Monday or Tuesday. It says he is a WWII veteran. Did he ever have a head injury?
Maybe next time they can say Bill Ayers liked to set off bombs from reading The New York Times and listening to Walter Cronkite. There are always kooks wacky enough to try to do things like this.

I quit watching Fox because of Shepard Smith, Bill OReilly, and Geraldo. Now I get my news off the internet and am much happier for it.

I was watching news coverage of the shooting and couldn’t believe Shep. It was SO inappropriate what he said. I screamed at my telly, “Go over to PMSNBC, Shep! You belong there instead!”
The guy is a drama queen. When he’s not getting excited about some stupid car chase in Los Angeles, he’s involving himself in some incoherent slobbering spittle left-winged rant about all the conservatives in this country.
