Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University in 1981.
According to the New York Times, Obama "suggests in his book that his years in New York were a pivotal period: He ran three miles a day, buckled down to work and 'stopped getting high,' which he says he had started doing in high school.
Yet he declined repeated requests to talk about his New York years, release his Columbia transcript or identify even a single fellow student, co-worker, roommate or friend from those years."
Campaign spokesman Ben LaBolt told the newspaper in October 2007, "He doesn’t remember the names of a lot of people in his life."
Obama claimed to be a part of the Black Student Organization and anti-apartheid activities. But according to the New York Times, several well-known student leaders did not recall his involvement.
Fox News made contact with 400 of Obama's classmates. No one remembered him.
The Columbia University chapter in Obama's life remains blank, according to the New York Sun.
"The Obama campaign has refused to release his college transcript, despite an academic career that led him to Harvard Law School and, later, to a lecturing position at the University of Chicago," the Sun reported in September 2008.
"The shroud surrounding his experience at Columbia contrasts with that of other major party nominees since 2000, all whom have eventually released information about their college performance or seen it leaked to the public."
According to the New York Sun, a program from Columbia's 1983 commencement ceremony lists Obama as a graduate. University spokesman Brian Connolly confirmed that Obama graduated with a major in political science but without honors. Nonetheless, he was later admitted to Harvard Law School.

Apart from his ambition he's still an unremarkable man of mediocre intellect.
We know there has been at least 1 secret service agent who had information on Obama and that agent is now dead, an unsolved murder.
How many others are not around to talk or are frightened for the lives of their children, spouse or family if they did open up?

He should have been in at least 20 classes {5/semester.) Somebody should have remembered him, or at least his name and that he was in one of their classes.

I was at Columbia in 1982. I don’t remember sharing any classes with George Stephanopoulos, but I was able to establish a link only one level deep through a friend who was in his frat. They called him “Silent George”, and he was always very active in politics. See? It’s not hard to do. I also remember sharing classes with Lis Wiehl and Suzanne Vega, and they remember me.
This isn’t rocket science. If he went there, people should remember him and be able to speak up. I know his name is on an alumni list, but he could have been enrolled and done “outside study” with his leftist mentors in off-campus buildings.

He’s unable to produce legitimate documentation and even if he did, his father never being an American citizen and his adoption to an Indonesian citizen, becoming Indonesian himself makes him ineligible.
What is left is what his people have been doing since before the elections. Use millions of tax dollars to prevent any court from ordering discovery or determination of his constitutional eligibility under Section 2 of the Constitution.
Use the Secret Service, FBI and IRS against those citizens who care enough about this country to go to court and/or form citizens grand juries.
Finally, prevent any person from traveling to other countries Obama has ties to and conducting interviews or collecting documents.
Easy enough to do when you have the entire weight of the government at your disposal.
The only high-school friend I have seen mentioned is his pot smoking buddy.
The only contact at Occidental was his drug-dealing roommate.
The only contact at Columbia was his drug using roommate. I believe the drug-using Columbia roommate was related to the drug-dealing Occidental roommate.
Then somehow, after graduating, he just happened to buy a Chicago paper (even though he had no connections to Chicago), and the paper just happened to have a classified ad for a community organizer position, and Obama just happened to see the ad, called and got the job.
I am willing to bet Obama spent his time in New York outside of the Columbia student environment, and more likely in the New York radical leftist activist circle. William Ayers was in New York at the time, and Ayers had a lot of connections to Chicago.
I believe Ayers is the missing link.

if they didn’t remember, one would think that they would be busting their rear to remember and get their 15 minutes (if positive memory) or ZERO minutes and ZERO credibility if negative.
I believe you are correct when you say that there might be some who are afraid to talk about BO. I hadn’t heard about the Secret Service agent. When did this happen? What kind of info could he have had?
But a recent report stated that he attended Columbia on a foreign student scholarship, his citizenship then being stated as Indonesian and his name Soetoro.
