The Democratic Party's attitude to elections is admirable: Win. And recent history has shown it will do anything to do so.
When, if not now, will Republicans develop such a fighting spirit?
Democrats invest - with taxpayer money, mind you - in groups like ACORN that, among other sordid tactics, seek out Skid Row bodies and wheel them to polling places. All the Democratic National Committee needs are vans and smelling salts. Pop culture and the "education system" have done the rest, making "D" the default choice on Election Day.
Democrats brazenly take policy positions - think government services and even amnesty for illegal immigrants - not because they are the right thing to do, but because they are time-tested demographic bribes. Forget cigarettes and beer, Democrats would distribute needles, methadone, medical marijuana and biscotti in voter goodie bags if they could get away with it.
Democrats long ago jettisoned America's melting-pot ideal - E Pluribus Unum ("Out of Many, One") - because it imperils their campaign for permanent rule. Splitting the country into separate identity groups and playing them against each other works a lot better. And anyone who disagrees is a racist.
Win. Win. Win.
One of the first things President Obama attempted to do after taking office was to take control of the Census Bureau, an act that could redraw congressional districts and ensure Democratic majorities for years to come. The new president also etched out an enemies list, focusing on conservative talk-radio hosts, including Rush Limbaugh. He also appears to have singled out Fox News.

I heard Mark Levin start his radio show on Monday by reading this article. Brilliant.
NAILED it.
Now who’s got the b@lls to change the party?
Yes and the Democrats are willing to wheel dead people in to vote!
The ‘’left’ (COMMIES) took over in 1972. They had no use for old line demos and ignored them, waiting for them to retire or die off.
Win. Win. Win.
It’s not a game. What’s best for America should come before party affiliation.
City folk against suburbs, exurbs, and rural.
Tax consumers against tax payers.
Labor against capital.
Public sector against private sector.
“Democrats brazenly take policy positions - think government services and even amnesty for illegal immigrants - not because they are the right thing to do, but because they are time-tested demographic bribes.”
When the people find they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic. - purportedly Ben Franklin
What a farsighted group were the Founding Fathers. There should be no non-taxpaying or non-citizen voters, and there should be NO government handouts.
God save America!
The Republican attitude to elections, epitomized by John J McStupid’s most recent blazing path to glory, is:
Do whatever it takes to be friends with the Democrats and be loved by the media, even if they both continue to hate you and stomp your face with a dog-poopy boot-heel.
What a bunch of wimps and losers 90% of the Republicans are. I want to vomit just thinking about them.
So, with all the jumping, skipping, disappearing, reinventing itself at the Washington Times site I managed to skip to the end and read that Breitbart apparently thinks the Republican Party needs a winning attitude, and another Atwater before the article disappeared again on me.
If that’s what Breitbart is saying, then I must agree to win the Republicans must want to, and recognize it’s a war not simply a campaign, and the winning artillery is Conservatism. Also it would be an asset to have such an aggressive soul as Atwater with such a creative mind in such a leadership position, but does anybody see an Atwater out there anymore than one see’s a Reagan?
My Post isn’t an invitation for a Palin swoon. Time will tell.
The Democrats have embraced Islam in the hopes of being a tag-a-long political party supporting the New World Religion.
“Splitting the country into separate identity groups and playing them against each other works a lot better. And anyone who disagrees is a racist.”
Then I’m a racist....celebrate diversity!!!
Wouldn't being a racist, as opposed to not being one, be a form of diversity itself???
Unfortunately, nor is the Republican Party, your father’s Republican Party.
