Photographers were kept blocks away... Can you imagine if Bush had made a million dollar jaunt for a night on the town and kept the press away, on top of all that?

How about the campaign pledge of creating 3 million new jobs in the first year?

Michelle feeds off the depression of being a victim of slavery. I’m sure she is jazzed.
Now, back home to tend the WH organic collard patch.

With due respect to everyone, I do not see why this couple is called “good looking” or “handsome”
I am not trying to be mean and looks are a very shallow way to judge someone. People truly are more than their looks and shame on our society for focusing solely on looks.
However, a lot has been made in the Press and here on FR about this couple being “beautiful” and “handsome”. I disagree completely.
If our President was Denzel Washington and our first lady was Beyonce then ABSOLUTELY I would agree that our first couple was beautiful and stunning.
And while I am on that topic, I think Denzel would make a better President than Mr. Obama. Mr. Washington has always worked for his living and has actually seen a real paycheck from the private sector.

The radio news this morning about the Obamas' visit to NYC was very depressing. There was audio of people cheering him as he drove past a couple of spots and audio of little people reporting breathless excitement at having been near the acting President. I hope I heard a biased report, but I fear that maybe this guy really is popular.

He’s creating those government jobs as fast as he can.

More from the article:
"I'm nervous, excited, honored," said Andre Holland, who plays character Jeremy Furlow, before the show. "It's like in Shakespearean times, when the king would come to the show."

Hypocrisy, Dishonesty and Arrogance at it’s worse. Hope the useful idiots that voted for this clown are happy with the way he’s not walking the walk that he talks.

That persistent scowl of Michelle’s, reminds me of the Nate X character (Chris Rock) on SNL.

a lot has been made in the Press and here on FR about this couple being beautiful and handsome. I think the consensus here at FR is quite the opposite of what you said.
