You obviously have never heard of sarcasm. I’m not going to point it out every time I use it because anyone who has ever read one of my posts knows that I’m ALWAYS a sarcastic ...
Believe it or not, the guy who played ‘Bulldog’ Briscoe on Frasier is gay too. Totally fooled me, but then again he was acting...JFK
He is one of my favorite actors of all. He’s also a wonderful person who works hard for Alzheimer’s causes. What I am not surprised about is that he is in a long time relationship and is NOT living “the lifestyle.” I really like David Hyde Pierce and I am glad he is happy.
On days like this I wish it was David HIDE Pierce.
I really don’t care about his sexual proclivities. Does he have to go on national television to brag?
That kid from “Who’s the Boss” was so gay that he was gay before he was even had ANY sexual desires.
Not that I watched the show, but I saw one scene where his dad’s new girlfriend called him “Tiger” after he already told his dad not to call him that. “He doesn’t like being called tiger” his dad said, and he was supposed to deliver the line “I like it when SHE says it”, and he said it, but I was ENTIRELY UNCONVINCED.
When you can tell a kid is gay at 10 he is UBER gay. And I don’t think he chose to be gay.
Not just Bulldog. The Dad on Frasier is not only gay but he’s a Brit who put on that wonderful American rough cop accent for all those years. There were a lot of gays on that show and writing and producing it. (Obviously the radio chef guy was too, forget his name.)
It was the funniest, most intelligent comedy EVER on TV, so if that’s what it’s like having gays do a show, BRING ON MORE GAYS!
I really love the gays on marriage. They want to married based on equality, but don't want to afford that right to polygamists, group marriage, animal or other non-human marriage. They want the right for them but limit it for the others, and then turn around and call us ‘homophobes’ for wanting to limit to right to heteros only. Their discrimination is OK, ours is bad. Hypocrisy anyone?
At least we can count on good old Rock Hudson
My guess is Martin was not surprised.
In the “old days” guys like this would just stay single and live with their mothers, and spare us daytime-TV-interview nonsense.
Regardless, the guy makes me laugh. One of the funniest was when he and Frasier were talking about vehicles, and Niles was immediately deadset against hatchbacks, or as he called them, “hunchbacks.”
He was horrified that, “they were named for their most hideous feature.”
Hahahahahahahahahaha!
“This is almost as shocking as finding out Liberace was a poofer!”
My mother who was an Italian immigrant always knew that Liberace was gay. She’s say in Italian that he must be “half woman because a real man where slacks with the zipper in front.”
And the funniest episode was when the station got the new program director, who was gay, and Frasier wanted to fix him up with Daphne, but the new guy got the impression that Frasier wanted him. That was a pretty good show...JFK
Be as it may, he really did add some good comedy to “Frasier”. I detest the Gay Movement but have to admit I love listening to Elton John.
Next you'll be telling me Nathan Lane is gay!
The one time I saw it, I was bored to tears. However, I no longer have a TV, so I’m not in the audience pool.
“Niles, nobody is saying you cant get married. You just cant marry a dude because, youre a dude!”
That says it all right there.
