I would doubt Bill O is doing the research himself, staff is probably feeding him quotes.
The quote itself, while not politically correct, does define reality and really falls way short of the “Cheney” Scale of deragatory comments.
We can do much worse and still fall short of the Borking left wing hate for SCOTUS candidates.

I agree with you but lets remember all the hatred spewing from the left. He does little to show their hatred.
Their ideology has killed in excess of a 100+ million people.

If he were really fair, he could go to the DUmp any hour of the day and find death threats against President Bush and other figures on the right. But then he’s not actually trying to be fair, just piggyback on FR’s coat tails.

Had he said it was unusual for FR to wish death on anyone not guilty of murder, it would have been different, but he didn't. He sensationalized one out of trillions to make himself look "neutral."
This type of stuff makes him unlikable. No one likes a deceiver.
He sure is. The only good thing I can say about him he is a heck of a good mystery writer and he should have stuck to that.
