A good TV ad, listing several of the targeted dealers, and documenting their support for Republicans, would help a great deal to show the public what a partisan hack Obama really is!
It would also be helpful if we could find a car dealer who is not being shut down, who happens to be an Obama suck up!

Not enough information here. It may be that Obama-supporting dealerships are hard to find, closed down or not.

As someone mentioned on another of these threads, we should look at the ones remaining open with respect to donations. It could simply be that dealerships are heavy republican donors to begin with. The real story is not only “who is being closed?”, but “who is remaining open?”.

I’m sure this was *just* some crazy “coincidence” and nothing “personal”.

It will be interesting to see the “Diversity” composition of the dealerships, once the dust has settled.

Is there the possibility of a lawsuit here? Could a dealership claim undue political influence on the GM decision process now that GM is partially owned by government (nobama?)
To: Edit35
The only way that this is statistically relevent is if you can produce a list of dealerships that are not being closed that were contributors to Obama. Without that data this is just twisting numbers to fit a scenario.
To: Edit35
That's just fine.
So this means the chrysler dealers that are still open have been kept that way because of pay offs in the form of political contributions.
I won't buy from them.
So what about the other companies?
To: Edit35
This is just coincidental - nothing to see here. Move along move along.
