>> Rigged? The authorities could clearly see his camcorder, where are you getting your information from? <<
I don’t know if you think I was meant “booby-trapped” or something; All I meant was that it was equipped ahead of time, indicating that he was looking to have an encounter with the police. And he got one.
rig (rg)
tr.v. rigged, rig·ging, rigs
1. To provide with a harness or equipment; fit out.
YOU:>> It’s not supposed to be legal and that is what Pastor Anderson was claiming, of course the BP Agents claim they had probable cause because THEY said they did, and they said their dog was acting funny around the car, of course how can you beat that reasoning? They all knew Pastor Anderson because he had to travel through their checkpoints for his business and they know he always gives them hassles about the constitutionality of these check-points so I guess they decided to finally teach him a lesson and that IMHO was why he got tased, after all who follows the Constitution anymore? <<
ARTICLE:>> The agents then told Anderson to pull over. He said he sat in his car for an hour before DPS arrived to tell him he was under arrest. <<
What neither you nor the article mention, but what the police say, (and they would have thousands of witnesses) is that he did not PULL OVER, blocking traffic for over an hour, and forcing the cops to divert traffic through a truck inspection station (thus rendering it useless for law enformcement purposes).
Furthermore, the cops state that he never acknowledged the officer talking to him, that he refused to roll down his windows, and that he stared blankly ahead.
And the church say it....Amen.
Then get a lawyer and bring a case before the court. That is how it works in the USA. Anyone opposed to that is unpatriotic. In the meantime, obey the law and stop feigning being some sort of milquetoast hero...cuz he just got his ass kicked for it.
Nitwit.
***DRAMAQUEEN ALERT***
I’ll thank you for not engaging in name-calling. If you want to debate, please do so. But the name calling is not necessary.
Okay now I’ll call you a name, Nancy.
I was calling the dumbass Pastor a nitwit.
Anyway.
Do you have anything to add to the discussion besides name-calling? Or is that it?
The Agents wanted him to pull over into a area specifically set aside for searching vehicles, he refused to do that citing the fact there was no probable cause for him to have to be searched, he just wanted to continue on his way, the Agents would not let him, it was a stalemate and traffic backed up, the BP Agents after an hour or so were told to let him go, it was on the way back that the tazing incident occurred, it was well known by this time by the authorities who Pastor Anderson was, seems to be they were out to teach him a lesson.
That’s it.

Pastor Reveals Video Of Border Checkpoint Assault
He got what he deserved.
Ever read Lord of the Flies? It’s usually that personality type that thinks that way.
The anomia delusions of the contrarian coterie are laughable.
Thank you for that post...
...but facts be damned! These jackbooted federal thugs in their black helicopters are trampling all over our right to block traffic, endanger other roboticon citizens and ignore fundamental safety laws...not to mention the evil police themselves.
You are such a tool mannn!!
Ron Paul for President!! WOOHOO CHECKMEOUT!
......right.
One hour later he suddenly became this person they wanted to teach a lesson to?
More like: for an hour, the BP agents did NOT do anything. Then in came the AZ DPS and the AZ DPS didn’t know him, and so they DIDN’T treat him any differently than any potetial terrorist.
“Terrorist?” you say. He’s shut down an interstate highway for an hour. They’re having to wave cars through the truck inspection stations. He plainly was not a terrorist, as we can see in the cold light of day. But the situation he caused could very well be useful for a terrorist.
You have quabbles about the legality of checkpoints being so far from the border? Fine. Take it up with a judge. Maybe at some point, this case will lead to exactly the sort of review he was aiming for. BUt don’t make it like he’s some innocent victim. He got himself arrested precisely to challenge this law. Maybe he was a little surprised that being arrested wasn’t the hippy-friendly kumbaya experience that all the aging stoners reminisce about, but I don’t see any police brutality.
Once the AZ DPS arrive, what do you expect?
“Sure, mister, you can tie up a US interstate highway for nineteen months while we argue this out in the Supreme Court, hoping that the court draws a distinction between this and a very similar case that we won.”
“Golly, sir... we defended similar actions all the way to the Supreme Court, and won but we’ll give *you* the power of judicial nullification.”
