I agree. I don't have a choice as to being half black or my ethnicity...homosexuals have the choice to engage in the sex acts they do.

Sex is something you do, ethnicity is something you are. Big difference.

> “My opposition to this is very simple. It’s not my biblical understanding of what marriage is,” Gillison said. “We believe when you’re talking marriage, it’s between a man and a woman. We don’t even believe marriage is man’s idea. It’s God’s idea. This has always been for us an issue that is one in the spiritual realm, not the political realm.”

He’s absolutely correct, to compare the 2 is folly. The richest people per capita are homosexuals, they are adored by Hollyweird and the big cities in this county.

The proponents of homosexual marriage also claim it’s the same as mixed race marriages that were prohibited in many states in the 1st half of the 20th century. It’s a bogus comparison because there was a 1 man and 1 woman that were denied being married.

Right now anyone can get married if they pick someone of the opposite sex, there is no discrimination.

exactly. This comparison has always angered me and I being white could not understand why black folks were not even more so than I. Glad to hear their are some that do and aren’t afraid to say something about it. It has gone on too long unchallenged. It is time.

Refreshing... finally

I have been wondering this for years!... why have blacks not been more forceful in this fight for their just cause of civil rights and let the homos paint them with the same brush... What an insult!

The incredible punishment they have been put through simply because the color of their skin in black should NEVER been equated with a group of homosexual degenerates who simply want to destroy our culture of any decent values.

I as a Hispanic, I would vomit if the fagots try to use my culture/race/etc to advance their agenda in any way what so ever.

I hope more blacks see the light as well.

I work in a 98% minority job and all of them I have ever talked to not only voted for Obama but do NOT support gay rights marriage.

When I tell them, Obama does, they deny reality!

I recently hear a Black Pastor say....”I know people who used to be gay but I do not know anyone who used to be black”.

You are a rare bird, indeed, but your perspective is right on the money. I am a white man, married to a black woman (from Jamaica). My wife’s hairdresser, a staunch church-goer, YET won’t hear anything negative about Obambi, even with all the evidence available.

I've been hearing this argument for years. People acting like "Gay liberation" is akin to Rosa Parks refusing to move from her seat.

I don't think these idiots realize just how much making such a comparison damages their cause and their credibility.

This is good news. Civil rights groups, homosexual advocates, women’s lib, and several other splinter groups have been used to destroy this nation. Each group helps the others attain their goals. They will not be nearly as potent if there is war between them. :0)

The libs and govt have been trying to shove the homosexual agenda for years.
If you do not believe me then listen to N.P.R. which is govt financed and about every 7th story is supporting the homosexual agenda.

Govt can do whatever they care to and I will NEVER think homos are anything but pathetic, sick freaks.

When I oppose gay marriage or Obama and his standing on issues I am accused of being a bigot. I really resent that. I know it is a tactic the gay agenda uses to bring support to their cause but I refuse to be silenced. Slavery was and is a moral issue. No one should be a slave to anyone. Gay-marriage is a moral issue also. But an issue that has the concerns of building up a person, family, and keeping society intact. Gay marriage does not do that.
Maine is going down a slippery slope. Now there is a case in Auburn, Maine where a transgender wanted to use a bathroom facility of his choice. The woman in the restroom got upset. The management at the Denny’s resturant told the transgender (the male in transition to female) said you cannot use the female facility. He (transgender) is sueing Denny’s. A Maine panel says he has a right to sue. So that is where we are in this state. Just a glimpse of confusion and lawsuits that will come out of this. It’s isn’t just about equal rights for same sex couples it’s alot more than that.
Will pedophiles use this situation to stalk bathrooms? Will rapists use this situation to stalk bathrooms and certain areas in public? This is only the beginning.

Look back at 1955 America. It’s really stretching things to suggest rich, successful white actor Rock Hudson was every bit as oppressed as Rosa Parks, the black woman whose arrest started the Montgomery bus boycott. Sadly, that’s what the secular left has brainwashed a whole generation with no sense of historical perspective into believing.

I wonder what do black people in Africa think when homosexuals say being black is the same thing as being homosexual? Somehow, I doubt this white American leftist argument goes over real well in Nigeria or Uganda.
