Palestinian sources said the PA would only be willing to relinquish Palestinian sovereignty over the Temple Mount as part of a final-status agreement in exchange for Islamic sovereignty over the site.

I have an alternate proposal.

Tear down the cr@p up there and rebuild The Temple.

Give them their choice, Mecca or the temple mount. Blow the other one to kingdom come or remove it and rebuild the temple.

My guess is the temple mount will take second place.

Is anyone under the false assumption that the Islamic concern wouldn’t turn the temple mount back to the Palestinians in about two months?

Interesting, palestinians don't have "sovereignty" over the Temple Mount, never have, Jordan does have control. Is Abu Mazen suggesting that palestinians are the same as Jordanians?

The biggest mistake made in these endless peacetalk-fests is the assumtion that the PA is serious and fair-minded where Israel is concerned.
