Glenn Ambushed on 'The View' ( "Quintessential Chick Show"... making fun of me for crying" )

Glenn knew this wasn't going to be pretty -- but Glenn's interview on The View was even worse than anticipated, mostly because of the childish accusations (which they wasted an entire segment of TV on) that Glenn 'lied' about his chance encounter with Barbara and Whoopi on an Amtrak train down to the Correspondents dinner in Washington DC.

Okay I want to chime in here. For the record I'm not a Glenn Beck fan. I don't get it. He is NOT an articulate spokesman for the Conservative cause, either on fiscal or social issues. He is NOT a good talk show host. He's not well educated or up to speed on the issues of the day. It's not that I disagree with Beck it's that he doesn't do the conservative cause any good.

In short Beck in a minor clown. He stepped into it by lying or misstating about the way these women approached him. From there on out he was on defense. In the SF Bay area he will replace a really good up coming talk show host named Schnitt. This guy is superior to Beck in every way but people wanted Beck. I don't get it. If any of you are Beck fans then let me know why he appeals to you. I'd be interested. I don't get it.

Joy: "Do you believe in her (Palin)?

Mr Rogers: "I believe in God. Anyone else has faults, but she is Governor of Alaska, and doesn't seem to sell favors like the Democrat governor of Illinois, and pays her taxes, unlike most of Obama's cabinet. She certainly has more relevant job experience than our current President."

Joy: "Do you think she think she thinks that Africa is a continent or a country?"

Mr Rogers: "To use a line from the movies, she shits bigger than you! Of course she knows it is a continent. Do you have a relevant question?"

At some point, a conservative needs to jump in their chili and keep it up while they howl. It is like dealing with Iran - they have no interest in friendship or honor. Playing nice is worthless. You need to attack them, again and again.

But the best advice is to ignore them. It is like allowing CBS to tape an interview - which is like getting in a fight with both hands tied behind your back. Either do it live, with professional advice from someone who understands lighting, seating, etc, or don't do it at all.

Schnitt said a month or two ago that the crying incident was scripted, making it clear he was talking about GB without actually saying the name. I’m worried that Glenn is getting over-exposed, heading towards being 24x7 in his own right. That can lead to short cuts and I hope that’s not what happened there. God Bless Glenn, but it takes an extraordinary person to survive the toll that can take. He’s fighting the good fight and I hope he makes it for the long haul. Prayers up for Glenn.

“I’m more nervous coming here [than meeting the Prez]”

WTF?

Talk about laying out as fresh meat. Was that meant to disarm these highly deadly leftist black widows?

Even girls are making fun of his incessant boo-hoo-ing.

I’ll say it again. We need MEN right now. We need backbone and character right now. We desperately need testosterone in this country.

We don’t need crybaby betas like Beck.

We don’t need a court jester delivering punchlines with the enemy at the castle gate.

This is a somber moment in our history, in case you missed it, America.

The fact that Beck has risen to the level he has is a sign of the times.

Rush is the only one who gets it.

We have the tearful jester, the ‘insecure one’ and the book peddler (Levin), the hemp clothed weiner (Savage), the cookie cutter, watered-down, frat boy conservative (Hannity)—but no men to speak of with the exception of Rush Limbaugh.

They are DESTROYING our country, folks.

They are STEALING OUR WAY OF LIFE.

The atmosphere should be at least somber—when it’s not full of outrage and a fighting spirit!

Or maybe Beck should have asked her, "Does sleeping with a married black politician make you

I may be wrong here but didn't she also admit to screwing Castro following an interview with him?

In any event, we know she's a whore so the only question remaining today is what is she charging these days?

...The GOP is in a cave. Big stones fell late on 11-4-08. GOPeers been trying to secure the damage. they’re failing, with Steele, and the Republican listenin tours. Beck is in, trying to fill the cracks, but he has to, keep the faith, one straw broke him, and that will take the rest of the straw to cement the movement, embed the GOP to fix the Constitution, before it collapses!!!

...We are the straw dogs and the bricks we make with the straw we harvest will make a more solid and perfect Union!!!

I’m one brick, anyone want to fix a foundation with me?

I’m a chick, and I’ve never seen as much as five minutes of the show.

If he knew it was going to be an issue, why did he go on the show?

That’s just dumb.

You know, if you deny them your attention, you remove any power they may have.

If true, then my opinion of Castro has sunk even lower.

Another relevant question over Baba is whether or not there's any tread left on the tires, or is it like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

Being that she'd bed any leftist around, I vote the latter.

Good question. My guess would be that Glenn is on the win hearts and minds tour perhaps and he has done a pretty good job of it so far. The more liberals, democrats and independents we can make question their own assumptions about big government and Obama, the better. The thing we don’t want to do is become more like them in some futile attempt to curry favor(like the rinos do). Reagan was the best at winning hearts and minds because he was one of the best spokesmen for conservatism that we have ever had. He brought people to our way of thinking, etc.

Just a thought.

In the final analysis, it is always the harpies on the view that look bad to any right thinking person.

“...Beck stepped in sh!t, but he was wrong, lying about the meeting on the AM train. After that, to their credit, Goldberg and Walters backed off the issue...”

He got pwned on the lying issue. He tried to get out of it by claiming to have “misspoke” but he admitted making up the story. Which begs the question, what else does he make up?

why did he go on the show

ENTERTAINMENT. Glenn claimed he was not an investigative journalist when Walters suggested as such. (However, I thought, it would be good if I felt there were facts around the stories aired on his show!) On the next show, day after; Glenn then said "he never said he had approached Walters". His wife called the View and read them the riot act. His body guard, Adam, claimed it never happened. So the question being, why was Beck not able to defend himself on the show? He steered to the fact that he was "in their house" and wanted to be respectful. Then he heard from a caller in the audience-a fan-that after the show Whoopie was in the audience calling him a Liar to that same "caller". Glenn surprised said he and Whoopie had made up after his spot, never to speak of it again!..so now he was PI$$ED! and was calling Whoopie!

Ah, the drama!!But he was lassoed and hog tied by "The 3" on the View!! He SHOULD cry from the shame of it all!

Know Thy Enemy!
