The monkey photo’s and the very nasty comments make us look like a bunch of racists, there certainly are some here and we need to police ourselves a bit.

I do not know who taught the woman to walk, but someone should. 0bama’s walk with the swagger actually looks like the modern step n’ fetch ‘t, although its intent is different.

I agree.
The purple outfit she is wearing is NOT First Lady appropriate.

For gawd’s sake, can’t someone teach her some posture? She is so round-shouldered and hunched over. What a figure she is going to cut in about 15 years with a hugemongous dowager’s hump on her back
To: Scythian
Racist? LMAO! Geez, you sound like my sister. Would you still consider it racist if I compared her angry face to a great WHITE shark?

It’s hard for me to be complimentary of this couple, but frankly, I think Michelle Obama has a very nice figure, not matronly like we’ve seen in the past. And so it was difficult for me to admit, when the flack of her sleeveless dresses was being thrown around, that her upper arms were taunt and should be flaunted.
It’s been fun to watch her choices in wardrobe...many very good, and some extremely unfortunate. She carries herself well, but her posture could be improved upon. (Posture is my pet peeve...well, one of them.)

I thought it was her bra. But looking at it closely, it looks like a little bib to cover cleavage. I have some dresses that have those, you can snap them in or out depending on the occasion.

I find these threads attacking the First Lady most distasteful, I dont care how much you dislike her. Then why do you "visit" them?

Yes, I like the “kimono” top, too. She was very photogenic that day.

Please . . . if you’ve seen enough, stay off the treads. No one is making you stop on the topic.

I actually like that outfit. She can pull off that type of outfit fabulously, imo.
Now, if she wants to be different, she should try more stuff like this.

Maybe because it’s like a train wreck. MO could have the
very best help in style and deportment, but I think she
feels he own style can’t be wrong. I just wish that she’d
look at the photos taken of her and wise up some.
(Maybe she can’t look in the mirror)

“The purple outfit she is wearing is NOT First Lady appropriate.”
Is it the color purple that is inappropriate?
There are a lot of things “First Couple” appropriate that are being, and have been, tossed to the wind recently.

I only got through the first page of your link. (I think it could have used a Pepto alert.)
That said, I like how Michelle O has broken with the box-suit look that so many in government favor. However I happen to believe that Sarah Palin did a much much better job.
