I went to the site to read about a story that happened to a couple at South Bend. A clear case of prejudice directed at “radical right wing extremists” - actually on a lovely couple who traveled to protest the murder of babies. The wife got arrested and the pro-death cult got a pass.

The students booing and shouting at the hecklers were a disgrace.
They were well trained by the liberal elitists at that school. I heard students parrot how they were pro-life and then proceed to use the Kmeic argument on social issues vs abortion. Many of them will get a grip when they enter the real world - I hope and pray.

Obama made use of the sophistry and fallacy of the false dichotomy in his pitch for stem cells.
With both Jenkins and Obama, their speeches were big on pathos and short on logic. Jenkins was near hysteria in his hosannas and praises for Obama. Seen a LOT of weirdness in the Church over the years, but that was up there as one of the most embarrassing and disgraceful.

I was a little bit bothered that Obama politicized this speech at all. I would have liked him to keep things about the graduates. On the other hand, he was relatively gracious about the protests and such. The travesty in conduct here lies firmly with Fr. Jenkins, the other players conducted themselves well. Fr Jenkins oozed arrogance and exulted in disobedience. He had no concern about the Bishops, Catholic Mission or the ND Class of ‘09. He was awash in his own glory. Sad to watch a man so involved with self.

May Father Jenkins and the Notre Dame community who supported the events at the graduation on Saturday see the error of their ways and seek forgiveness. Thank God for all who made it known peacefully about how wrong it was for 0bama to be honored and on ND campus. Hold your funds alumnae as ND doesn’t deserve your support.
