Lieberman 'totally disagrees' with Pelosi (that the CIA regularly misleads Congress)

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said today that he "totally disagrees" with Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) assertion that the CIA regularly misleads Congress.

"No, on that specific point I totally disagree," Lieberman told MSNBC's Norah O'Donnell. "Over the 20 years I've been here, I've been briefed constantly by the CIA, and I'd say they've told me the truth as they see it."

It’s hard to muster much sympathy for the CIA. They constantly undermined Bush administration in the apparent belief that a Democratic administration would be better. Well now they got what they wished for.

Yep. It's like watching a fight between two scorpions.

But no, Nancy, we do not believe that the CIA “lied” to little old you!

Maybe she meant that they usually lie FOR her?

This is truly amazing to watch. So now we have either the CIA lied or Pelosi lied. How are the liberals going to get out of this.

CIA will not let this stand. Liberals eating their own.

She probably will need several FULL days of testifying to get her story across.... Then we will know what to believe.

Absolutely! Get her on record on every possible point. THEN bring in the CIA with official documents covering every briefing.

The CIA probably knows who in Congress is even more untrustworthy than the typical.

If anybody is sitting on the Obamanation's "vault copy" I'd put them way up the list.
