Thanks. I posted a link earlier on the CA message board, but it has already dropped into oblivion.
We need to keep getting the word out on this.
Hey,......there is going to be pony rides and a bounce house. We aren’t to old for that, are we?
People need to be careful with the name-calling. LOL. ;-)
LOL!!
Doesn't look too promising for this household. We're heading north to Spokane that week rather than driving south.
We’ll miss you. Thanks for checking in, Dave. I know a lot of people are going out of town for the 4th of July weekend. Wish you could join us. We are hoping to have a huge event, much bigger than the 8,000 people strong Tea Party in Fresno on the 15th.
Have a safe trip up north and back and, have a great 4th of July!
BTTT, we are planning to be there (FReeper fresno is my husband) with my son.
There was a plan to get a caravan together that morning and drive together to Tulare. I’d like to do that. My husband is so mad he is ready to spit nails.
LOL
I’ll bet Sheila will be there also. And, Prissy Missy and FRiendAnn will be there.
See you there!
I would like to join the caravan. Since we are between Fresno and Tulare, we will try to catch the caravan as it goes through Selma.
The caravan should be fun. I’m hoping my husband and son will join us.
The FREEDOM RALLY begins at 9 AM. Bring your signs as we have a set time to protest on the frontage road on Highway 99!

CORE VALUES of the Tea Party Patriots
Fiscal Responsibility
Limited Government
Free Markets
MISSION STATEMENT
The Tea Party Patriots are a group of individuals united by our shared core values. As an organization that believes in Fiscal Responsibility, Limited Government, and Free Markets, we recognize the strength of grassroots organizing powered by activism and civic responsibility at a local level. The Tea Party mission is to organize like-minded individuals, educate and inform others based on our core values, to secure public policy consistent with those values, and to positively affect the outcome of elections.
TALKING POINTS
The Tea Party core values are the values that America was founded on and they have roots in our shared heritage and belief in natural law. They derive from a belief in free will and the primacy of an individual who is responsible for his/her own actions.
~ An individual who is personally responsible will be fiscally responsible.
~ An individual who is personally responsible will make better decisions than a distant federal government
~ An individual who is personally responsible will productively respond to and interact with markets
RATIONALE
The impetus for the Tea Party movement has been excessive government spending. The choice of these core values recognizes what binds us together as a group, but it is also strategic in that these values have the ability to unite a supermajority of American voters. It specifically avoids addressing social issues which can be used to divide us and dilute our message.
It isnt that social issues arent important; its that our core values help to inform our stance on the rest. We believe in limited government, so we believe that those issues are best decided at the state and local levels. Our stance on Government is rooted in the principles of Federalism enshrined in our Constitution. Since our organization is grassroots and built from the bottom up, we can unite on our shared values and address the rest at the local level if we choose to do so.
If our events, correspondence, websites, and interviews consistently speak the same message "fiscal responsibility, limited government, free markets" then we will be united on the national and international front. A united front is a strong front and it is critical for succeeding in our mission of securing public policy consistent with core values, and to positively affect the outcome of elections.

MamaBear, see above post.
WalkenFree, I’m not sure what has been taken care of.
Lori, Can WalkenFree help with something from there?
While I am hoping/praying that my wonderful DH will be home from Iraq by then, I won’t know his availability/work schedule until much closer to the event.
Yep, Hubby and I should be there.
Great!!
I need to check about getting us a booth.
Lori .... do you know if we sign up for a booth online or by phone?
Thanks. Jkphoto will be freepmailing you, Walkenfree, with some information. He is liaison between the event coordinators and the City of Tulare.
He went up to Fresno this morning to do a 10 second PSA with some other people promoting the Freedom Rally. It is being distributed to the major networks. Don’t know when or where it will be aired at this point.
Amy, as far as FR’s information booth, I will find out tomorrow night at our weekly committee meeting what you need to do. I will let you know.
Thanks PERKY. Hope you can be there. Once again, you and your husband’s service is very much appreciated. Tell him for us.
Will do. He got word today he has to stay “a little longer” than we originally expected since they need his help in training replacements. Oh well ... hopefully it won’t be too much of a delay.
