Pelosi About To Be Investigated Over The Interrogation Methods Used On Those Responsible For 9/11

Funny funny funny stuff here. Nancy Pelosi is going to be investigated about what she knew and when she knew it over the completely legal interrogation method used in 2002 on three al-Qaeda members responsible for 9/11:

The House majority leader reluctantly agreed Tuesday that congressional hearings should investigate Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s assertion that she wasn’t informed, more than six years ago, that harsh interrogation methods were used on an Al-Qaeda leader.

Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., called Republican challenges to Pelosi’s assertion a diversion from the real question of whether the Bush administration tortured terrorist suspects. Nonetheless, he acknowledged the controversy should be resolved.

Democrats will hold a series of hearings on Justice Department memos released last month that justified rough tactics against detainees, including waterboarding — simulated drowning — and sleep deprivation.

While Democrats want the hearings to focus on what they call torture, Republicans have tried to turn the issue to their advantage by complaining that Pelosi and other Democrats knew of the tactics but didn’t protest. Pelosi was briefed in 2002 while on the House Intelligence Committee.

Will she survive the loons in her own party after they discover the evidence? I doubt it. But that is only if this investigation is for real, which I also doubt. We have seen time and again the “investigations” ran by Democrats turn out to be nothing more then a sham….the whole Plame idiocy comes to mind….and I would not be surprised to see the same level of scrutiny placed on Pelosi, the queen bee.

Couldn’t of happened to a more deserving person imo tho.

The wolves in her own party are out for the communist dominatrix. Her days as Speaker are numbered. And IMHO like Caeser, 'her friend' Rahm will be the one with the fatal knife wound to the back. (politically speaking of course)
"Et tu, Rahm?" ("Even you, Rahm?")
So beware the 'Ides of May', Nan.

the next 'ides' are in July

All we can hope is that the old adage "The bigger they are, the harder they fall," comes true. First for Pelosi, then Obama, then Reid.

Obama second because I think that even many Dems have tired of him and the game playing they have had to do. They know he is totally inept. Reid third, he has so many claws stuck in so many people, he will be harder to shake loose. But if we can get those three out and we might be able to get the rest back in line to remembering that they are OUR employees.

What about Pelosi’s fight with Jane Harmon, who Pelosi briefed on the subject when Harmon took over as head of the House Intelligence committee. Harmon has real reason to discredit Pelosi. This is going to be good.

Perhaps Arlen will offer some insight on how Scottish law applies to this matter.

My guess is that Arlen going to be keeping a low profile on this one. He can’t switch parties again.

Maybe he can come up with a sort of “magic bullet” theory to give Pelosi cover.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence chart released earlier this month asserts that Pelosi received a briefing in September of 2002 where she was given a description of interrogation methods used on a suspected terrorist prisoner. Pelosi has claimed a different recollection of the briefing. “Trying to understand what she was told is almost impossible, her story changes almost every day,” said one Repub legislator.

Pelosi's gone from saying (1) she was never briefed about waterboarding, to saying (2) she was briefed about it’s possible use as a future technique, to saying now, (3) she knew it was happening but chose not to protest....

So Nancy, when you and the stupid Dems gonna start the lawsuits? We all can't wait to hear the testimony.

Watta figging liar......lying and lying, figuring national security briefings could not be released.

Thank God the rug was pulled out from under her lying carcass. I would imagine that's also why Obama reluctantly released pics from the flyover stunt AFTER the WH coverup (when he asserted he would not).

Because of the seriousness of the charge, shouldn’t she be incarcerated due to her flight risk?

Perhaps Steny Hoyer is trying to throw Madame Speaker (D - Botox)under the bus so he can take her job. I hope that’s what he’s up to LOL.

It’s a double-edged sword, waterboarding is not torture, so why should Pelosi get grilled over this?

I have a feeling a sudden illness is going to force Nancy to spend more time with her family.

Mark his words.

With the dims it is all about word manipulation- they are trying to characterize interrogation techniques as torture. There is a huge difference and they are deliberately trying to cloud the issue by calling legal interrogation torture. The media is more than happy to help them accomplish this.

We see this word play used in other issues- Illegal immigration for example. Illegal immigration is clouded by politicians of both parties and the media with legal immigration and there is no relationship between the two. It is like equating the person that robbed the bank with the person that went into the bank to cash a check.

Somehow we must stand up to the dims when they play games with words and not fall into their traps.
+++++++++++

The idiots in the media should be forced into an investigation about how many lies, half truths, spins and manipulations THEY perpetuate. If that happened and they responded in any way - I’d show you tortured.

Oh, she got that - it was the CIA that didn’t comply! The press is worse than worthless right now; they are pernicious and evil in their bias. Forget about the Fourth Estate - they’ve not made it past the Fourth grade. At least politicians are *supposed* to be biased.

So it appears the sea hag spy is going to have a tough time of it, as her side slowly line up to slip their long sharp knives into her ribs once the thumb finally goes downward.

It’s the rampant hypocrisy that the dims have to deal with - if it’s torture (in their minds) then most of the dim leadership is culpible. If they finally figure out it’s not, then the issue evaporates. Either way, they’re looking like idiots and will not be able to unify on this like they initially postured.
