NEW YORK – Donald Trump plans to make an announcement regarding Miss California USA Carrie Prejean (pray-ZHAHN').
Trump, who owns the Miss USA pageant, will make the announcement Tuesday at Trump Tower in New York City.
The 21-year-old Prejean failed to reveal before last month's Miss USA pageant that she had posed in her underwear as a teenager.

I figure he thinks that Prejean is worth more publicity and notoriety than any possible replacement could be, but what the heck. At least he’s done the right thing—so far.
It’s just a shame that a freak like Perez Hilton is actually able to cause this kind of trouble for someone.When did normal people have to start explaining themselves to freaks like that?
I’m also listening to this press conference. I did not hear Trump say that Hilton is out. When asked, Trump said that they would have him back as a judge.
I saw them too. The media makes them out to be pornography, when in reality they’re pretty tame. Every model has taken pictures of that nature.
I also think it’s amusing that the media is aghast about these pics, claiming she’s amoral and a hypocrite, when the media pushes cultural leftism/rot 24/7.
Anyway, I’m glad Carrie kept her crown.
Leave it to Trump to milk the drama out of the issue. Can’t just issue a press release, can he? (not a Trump fan, here)
And why not? Look at all the publicity that got generated by turning the pageant into an "American Idol"-like show? That's what the people want, bread and circuses.

Trump is a weazle is right. I caught the Celebrety Apprentice this week...it was the last episode. I have not watched any of the others leading up to this one. Joan Rivers vs. Annie Duke. Joan was a bi..h and would not let Annie say anything and yet Joan called her every nasty name in the book. Annie made 3x what Joan did on their 24 hour project. Joan made the helpers mad and they walked off the set for both of them. Trump ended up firing Annie and letting Joan get the $250,000 for her charity. I don’t like him and I dispise Joan Rivers.
I don't think Perez has it in him to go after Trump. He's a small man who only bullies girls.

I don’t think suggestive modelling is consistent with a traditional lifestyle, but on the other hand, this was all blown out of proportion because of her answer. I never thought the question section was about the specific position you took on the issue , but rather how you presented that position. While I don’t think her original response was worth the highest score, I do think it was ridiculous for the twerp to award her a zero.
It’s still about money.
Who is the demographic for beauty pagents? It isn’t the left (who have been denouncing beauty pagents for decades.) It is the more traditonal/conservative right.
If Trump dumped her (because she didn’t toe the leftist line) he would see the ratings for his pagents in the future go into the dumpster. His core audience (traditional conservatives) would boycott them.
What he’ll probably do in the future (and should have done in the past) is tell the judges/staff to leave their politics at home. And if they can’t do that, he’ll replace them.
Prerez (sp?) asked a loaded political question. That’s what started this whole mess (as far as Trump is concerned.)
Just watched the press conference. After it was over, the Fox News Reporter said something along the lines of “Carrie said she was an opponent of gay marriage in response to a question at the Miss USA pageant.” No, Mr. Reporter. Miss Prejean said she believed marriage is between a man and a woman. It annoys me so end how the left defines the terms of debate in this country. Previous generations of humans who always defined marriage as between a man and a woman had no idea such a belief would one day be primarily defined as “banning gay marriage”. It’s like defining a circle as a “closed, curved line always equistant from the center” is a “square circle ban”.
