The Miss California organization took the self-described bold step of appointing a possible replacement for current titleholder Carrie Prejean, pending Donald Trumps decision as to whether or not the outspoken beauty queen will retain her crown.
Regardless of Trumps decision, Miss California first runner up Tami Ferrell will serve as an ambassador for the states organization, appearing at events in Prejeans absence or in situations where it would be unwise to send her, pageant co-directors Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler said at a Beverly Hills press conference Monday.
A San Diego native, Prejean, 21, was named first runner-up in the April 19 Miss USA pageant during which she responded to a judge's question by saying she favored limiting marriage to a man and a woman.
Since then, the state pageant has been investigating whether the 21-year-old violated her contestant contract by making public appearances with groups opposed to same-sex marriage and by failing to reveal that she had posed in her underwear as a teenager.

Queer nation.
What a bunch of skin peddlers.. they’re dickering over which parts are proper to be peddled.
PALIN/PREJEAN 2012
The girl answered a question she was asked. Her opinion is shared by well more than 50% of the population, and this is what she gets.

While both Carrie Prejean and Michael Phelps continue to be dismissive of relationship rumors (even her grandmother confirmed to RadarOnline.com that the two have been on multiple dates), a new photo of their first weekend together has surfaced.
Taken in Septemer 2008 at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas where they were both staying, the two are clearly having a good time (then 21-year old Prejean grins from ear-to-ear as she holds what looks like an icy cocktail).
They two continued to see each other after the weekend. Phelps took her to a Michigan football game last season and a Cleveland Browns football game last fall.
"He always calls her when he is in town and they go out." Prejean's grandmother Jeanette Coppolla told RadarOnline.com.
"Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn't serious about being in a relationship with him," she added. "He's a nice guy and she likes him."
I’d be shocked if Donald Trump does it... I think it also for show at this point.
So...who's in charge here? It seems like the "Miss California" organization is autonomous, or at least they're acting that way.....??
“Are you now, or have you ever been, in favor of the Proposition 8 - which was approved by the voters”?
If Donald Trump actually folds to this gay fascism, he should be so fired!!

I think Trump will decide to keep Miss California because it will get him and the Miss USA franchise more publicity. It’s business to him.
No wait, Nancy Pelosi will have to be the new “Ambassador” since Biden thinks the same way about Gay Marriage as Miss California.
I'm getting dizzy...
Good one, that.
A few years down the road, it might be the weak-kneed Mister Trump who will be begging Carrie Prejean for a job.
.
Shanna Moakler was anti-Prop 8 per an earlier report on one of the blab shows .
Coincidence the question was even asked, and that Shanna and more than a few are still choking on their own bile?
Priceless.
Well OK if she did that then she should resign. Just kidding. Of course liberals who excuse Charles Barkely's drunkeness will get on their moral high horse over this picture.
If he does dump her he may as well replace her with Miss Congeniality - Perez Hilton.
If these people were truly concerned about rules and ethics, they wouldn’t have had the likes of “Perez Hilton” judging anything.
Perhaps pageant officials should do a little preview of some of the more recent and truly offensive and indecent pictures of their “pageant judge” that are floating around the web.
