What destroys civilization is NEVER deemed a disaster for the All Communist Liars Union, since that has been the organization's strategy from the beginning.

Go back just a few decades and it was 99 to 1 against. 60-40 is not at all encouraging.

Sure it can happen. While the federal government may collapse, we have 50 state governments with 50 state constitutions that don’t go away just because the federal government does.

>Prop 8 won by a huge margin here.
Actually, Prop 8 won by a margin of 52 to 48%. Hardly huge. The worrisome thing was the demographics of the exit polls.
Yes No
18-24 (11%) 36% 64%
25-29 (9%) 41% 59%
30-39 (17%) 52% 48%
40-49 (22%) 59% 41%
50-64 (26%) 51% 49%
65+ (15%) 61% 39%
With only a 4% margin, and age demographics like that, another vote in a couple of years could be just about even or worse.

"With four states already allowing same-sex marriage and several others moving in that direction, its just a matter of time before the whole country goes that way, Romero tells The Philadelphia Inquirer. Clearly the momentum is on our side.Um, not unless citizens in the other states have their right to vote on the matter circumvented by their State Supreme Courts, as it happened to us in MA. I believe every single state that has allowed a vote on the matter has voted AGAINST allowing homosexual 'marriage'.

Or by a Roe v. Wade style decision by an Obama-packed U.S. Supreme Court mandating the legalization of homosexual "marriage" in all 50 states. And, frankly, that's how I think it WILL go down. At that point, the states will be left with three options: constitutional amendment, secession or compliance.

40% of your state is depraved or insane.

The worrisome thing was the demographics of the exit polls....And they are most worrisome not just because they show that the vote may go the other way in a few years, but because of what they infer about the moral character of the next generation of Americans -- that it is worse than the Boomers (ages 50-64), which I didn't think possible.
Even if we stop Obama in 2012, we need to purify the public schools and popular culture or else the country will be annhilated in a generation.

People tend to wise up as they get older, so the demographics showing younger voters largely in favor of SSM is not static, but moves to the conservative end of the spectrum gradually. I remember how stupid and "idealistic" I was when I reached voting age -
hated Reagan as part of the "establishment", was ambivalent about abortion, and could care less about socialistic economic policies.
The interesting dynamic that most people don't think about is that the fertility rate is declining in America, so fewer young people are being born that are in favor of radical social policies, while the larger aging, "conservativing" population is ripening. This fact gives me hope, if not for a reversal in the trend, then at least a stall in its progress.

Exactly! Proving once again that liberals HAVE to get their social agenda implemented by judicial fiat, because they can’t get them passed in elections through direct voting by citizens.
