By the way, what's that mean?
Many leaders in the Catholic Church have openly stated that what Fr. Jenkins is doing is a grievous scandal and wrong.
FYI, those under Jenkins’ authority have prevented Dr. Keyes from attending Mass at the Notre Dame chapel tomorrow morning.
Jenkins is exercising his power using the civil authority, but he stands on very shaky ground when it comes to Canon Law.
This is the second time now in two days that you have claimed to speak for Catholics and for the Vatican.
Prove it.
Clinton wasn’t ever invited to be commencement speaker at Notre Dame either.
Exactly. Most people won’t vote for the prophet Jeremiah, even if what he is saying is true. Fire and brimstone just isn’t a winning message these days.
Google “Alan Keyes Senate 2004.”
The original Republican running for the Senate seat was Jack Ryan, who Obama “cleared the board” with by getting his divorce records unsealed. He had to drop out. The Illinois GOP, led by some RINO, was absolutely at a loss what to do, and eventually they tried carpetbagging with Alan Keyes.
And if my memory is serving me correctly, isn't that how Obama won the primary too? Wasn't he behind until right before the primary election date?
2004
It's scary to see a person peacefully protesting AGAINST the heinous premeditated murder of an INFANT be ARRESTED.
Incorrect.
Clinton spoke there,
Incorrect.
so did Reagan.
You finally got something right.
Like taking a sledge hammer to a piss ant.
IIRC, yeah, he won the primary by doing the same thing to his Rat opponent. Exact same tactic, unseal the divorce records. I remember Rush talking about it: Obama didn’t win elections on merit, he won elections by sliming the other guy. Chicago thug.

I guess we are going to find out where the priorities of religious Americans lie.
Obama was Douglas.

Completely devoid of substance, fully fleshed-out argumentation and thoughtful, intelligent thinking.
Aside from that, OK.
However, I disagree as strongly as I agree with you above, that Obama or Clinton should speak at Catholic institutions. When they do so it signals tacit approval of their views, which are the antithesis of almost everything the Catholic Church preaches, to the rest of the world. Such people should be opposed by the church at every turn, not given a platform by Catholic church members on which to speak.
prayers continue
Nine years ago, we protested Clinton when he came to speak at Catholic La Salle University, here in Philly. First we made phone calls to the university but to no avail. Several people who demonstrated with us and made the calls, still post on this board. We stood there with signs like normal people.
That's how Alan and company should be doing this and they should have gone through the proper channels and planned it so there were a few hundred people with them. And yes, since some in the media have been publicizing this controversy, such a protest would have been reported and we would be talking about it.
Thus, there is absolutely no need for all the hysterics and drama on the part of Terry and Keyes, or their calling for the invitation of others to also get arrested and join them in jail. It's ridiculous and all for the headlines. So sad.
