JimmyCarter08.com has been calling Obama ‘Jimmy Carter’ for 2 years.

Meanwhile, the Public Policy Institute of California's poll shows Obama holding steady with a 70-percent approval rating among the state's adults, same as two months ago.

Try polling the red states for a change. Or when CA goes bankrupt in July, see if the Big-Eared One will be just as beloved.

The difference between Obama and Carter is that the latter was able to prove that he was a natural born US citizen and did not mind doing so.

I know some will find this hard to believe, but Newt is being far too kind to B.O.

Obama will eventually make folks long for the Cater years as the good ol’ days.

He's the worst thing that has ever happened to our country.

Carter may have been a boob, but at least he was our boob (not Kenya's)!

Nah. Wrong. Carter was a Christian on the wishful-thinking train--you know, act as if what you wish were true were actually true. Results: harmful.

0 is not a Christian and is moving ahead with his communist agenda. Results: calamitous.

70% approval for Obama? It really makes you wonder what is wrong with California.

My opinion? I think the government, schools, and media in California create an unholy alliance that squashes any negative information about the left. If you are someone growing up there, you will only here one side of the story.

I remember going to California on business trips long after Fox News was popular. Many hotels simply didn’t carry it. To me, it indicated a repressive leftist culture that intentionally suppressed opposing views.

I really don’t think there’s anything we can do about states like California. If 70% still love Obama after the things he’s pulled, our union cannot be saved. The gulf is too wide, and frankly, I’m not interested in meeting the totalitarian left half way.

Obama.......WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY more dangerous, way more damaging than Jimmy Carter could ever be.
“We step and do not step into the same river.
We are and are not.”
Meaning it is a different world, and “another
Jimmy Carter” is an whole different animal from the Jimmy
Carter who was President in the late 70s. The river we step in is always a different river, as we are different people doing the stepping from one time
to the next.
I’m afraid Newt is way behind the learning curve on this one.
THere is no possibility of “another Jimmy Carter”
even though Obama may remind a lot of old timers of Carter.
A “New Carter” in an infinitely more dangerous world,
the one we live in, is infinitely more dangerous than
Carter.
And even though I don’t think either of them are at all smart, Carter still had some small measure of patriotism.
Obambi has none. He is King of some fictional realm no one
has yet identified.

"I think (the GOP) is going to regain popularity pretty quickly," he said."

And how is that going to happen if they (the GOP) are Jimmy Carter lite? Carter didn't guarantee a Republican victory the following election. Ronald Reagan did.

Today's GOP doesn't like Reagan any more or agree with what he stood for. They like losing and trying to out demonrat the demonrats. Maybe they could run mccain again. "If first you don't succeed..."
