Jeb Bush and the RINOs: Leaving America behind?
World Net Daily ^ | 5/8/09 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 05/08/2009 7:14:38 AM PDT by ReformationFan

According to the headline of an online article in the Washington Times, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush believes that it's "time to leave Reagan behind." If true, this illustrates one of the reasons so many Americans have concluded that it's long past time to leave the Republican Party behind.

"So bush was left w/the major cleanup - 9/11, etc. "

I believe that Tolstoy was of the same opinion.

Politicians need to run to get at the front of the column.

I agree. We cannot give the libtards fuel by succumbing to ignorant racism. After all the 2 best apologist for conservatism are Walter Williams and Thomas Sowell. I believe (if it maters that they are of African-American descent) As much as I detest Obama’s marxist philosophies and “thugisms” we simply cannot pander to ignorant racial stereotypes.

Were you heavily influence by Asimov’s Foundation series?

Never got too heavy into Sci-Fi. But it looks interesting and I'm going to check it out. In looking up your reference I notice that the work was influenced by Gibbon's Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. I do find the parallels between the U.S. and 1st Century Rome striking: Over-extension abroad, debasement of currency, debt, imperious leaders with cult-like following, massive spending by politicians to gain power. FWIW, Julius Caesar was a noted fashion plate in his day and brought a new wave of style to Rome.

If The liberal Bush had pointed out Rat screw-ups instead of ..

Duh!! Like he had to say THE OBVIOUS?! Are we adults - didn't we know? As much as some knew - they feel for the msm mantra .. 'Bush's fault' Propaganda works when you listen to it. They do it because it works! Tried, true and tested and we see the results.

Yes, DUDE, we lost - who you gonna blame? According to the msm and many others - Bush created this WHOLE mess - single handed - what POWER! Why isn't he lifted up as the 'messiah'? I thought he was so stupid and couldn't put a sentence together. The msm worked every angle w/every talking head over and over and it gets posted here, rehashed and one becomes what they listen to. That's what happens when one is always in 'react' mode and not ACT mode - act on what we know and NOT react on what we hear. Act is leadership, 'react' are pawns. You wanted Bush to be in 'react' mode - like we are doing here - wasting time - keeps one busy thinking they are doing something. MSM stirs the pot and gleefully watch the sheeple fall in place reacting.

It's happening w/Sarah now - how many here are trashing Sarah. Picking her apart endlessly - she's not conservative enough, etc. - while some are trolls (the msm w/a FR cap on) the weak minded fall for it - the sad part is they think they are conservative.

Winners don't react - they plough their own way on truth and STAY FOCUSED.

If illegal entry started w/Bush you’d have a point, but it didn’t. There are been NO one before or after him that hammered on this activity - except for the Rush/Sean, etc. group. So when it comes to politicians, again - it’s his fault while NO other politician made it their cry. He didn’t fracture anything - they were all on the same page before he even came on the scene and even now. Forget Reagan but embrass the illegals. The gates were open long before he arrived. Bush caledl americans racists? Really? Guide me to where you got this info. It was this election cycle where I heard - if you don’t vote for X, you’re a racist. What’s “His Great Religion and pandering”? Need you to explain that to me.

I assume I got his televised Speech's With the Great Religion remarks and You did not! I guess you missed the Bush pissing his pants over the Kennedy McCain Amnesty Bill and his BS about us being racists on National TV..

I guess you missed the white-house switchboards Crashing with the protest calls.I guess you missed the Johnny Sutton BS on the Jailing of Border Patrol Agents. I guess you missed Bushes sawed off little Laraza AG Gonzalez Cheer-leading the Migration.I guess you missed the "Where is the Fence" all on Bushes watch. And the Boot licking of Mexico's Fox was a nice touch..

Myself I feel Bush,McCain,Kennedy and every senator that voted for that bill should be personally responsible both Financially and Criminally for the damage these people do.. And the heart warming Welcome wagon for the Muslims this complete Jackass invited in here is another nice touch not easily forgot.

However, to Obama and his sycophants color is everything.

Jeb...just like you left Terri Schiavo behind in that nursing home of death! You were trumped by the little blind bald headed swamp judge and you left your cajones behind too. You can’t lead so get out of the way of the conservative restoration movement!

Look whats happening all. The crucible of fire is turned up and it’s revealing the fake dross of the RINO’s and the true patriot conservatives are glittering as the valuable golden content! Let the purge commence!

Look at the time line. If there is a date that the life went out of the GOP, I think it was March 31, 2005, when Terri was killed in horrendous torture. Though the American people cheered her death, they also blamed the GOP for trying without much effort, as it turned out, to save her. So the GOP lost on both ends.

The life went out of the GOP the moment Bush and a Republican-controlled Congress decided to increase the size and scope of the government and spend like there was no tomorrow, after the GOP kept promising us it was the party of small government. We ended up with the largest, most intrusive government in the history of the United States. More important, not only did Bush (and a Republican Congress) grow the size and scope and power of the government, they lost the support of Americans and then turned that expensive, powerful, intrusive government over to the Democrats.

You know the Democrats will abuse all of that power that Bush and the Republican Congress gave to the federal government.

Bush managed to make Bill Clinton look like a libertarian.

If he had been more like Reagan we would not have that black POS in there ruining this country.

Not only am I embarrassed by you as a FReeper, but seeing that you served in the Air Force, it really tarnishes the rest of us. Thanks again!
