Jeb Bush and the RINOs: Leaving America behind?
World Net Daily ^ | 5/8/09 | Alan Keyes

Posted on 05/08/2009 7:14:38 AM PDT by ReformationFan

According to the headline of an online article in the Washington Times, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush believes that it's "time to leave Reagan behind." If true, this illustrates one of the reasons so many Americans have concluded that it's long past time to leave the Republican Party behind.

Unfortunately, and due to campaign management’s incompetence (also due to the lack of backing by REAL money?, as well as the shunning by the media, Rep. Hunter called it a day on January 19, 2008. Who would you have had him endorse? None of them as far as I’m concerned.

The handwriting was on the wall, Paladin. The Socialists would have it no other way.

Jeb should have the good graces to leave Republicans and America alone for awhile. I don’t blame our present predicament on Bush, or Bush alone, but Jeb’s emergence on the national scene at this time, is more dynasty nonsense than good taste permits. He will get a pass by the pop media, if he rejects Reagan and conservatives, but in escaping attack from the vicious left, he ends up alienating the very people who can give him a political future. I don’t get it. Maybe Jeb is looking for a rock star position as a pop media commentator. He and Meghan could go on tour together.

"its dogs don’t like the food set before them."

LOL

I've moved to foraging on my own.

It's a smaller, more nimble, versatile pack that I'll join when I get off the porch.

The Bushs thwarted the trend that was growing in the country toward smaller less intrusive government

You can slow the progress of a trend for a cycle if you have the means to do so. (The presidency). But you can't hold back the tide forever. The electorate will get what the want over time. Weather they will like it when they do get it is another story. The interesting question is; Is the repudiation of conservatism by folks like the Bushes, McCain, Graham, Ridge, Ed Rollins, etc. a short term thing or a larger societal pattern?

One day Jeb Bush was walking near a lake in Florida. It was a beautiful day. People were walking by the lake and children were paddling by in a canoe.

Suddenly the canoe with the children tipped over. Unfortunately, neither child had a life jacket on. Both children did not know how to swim. They were trying desperately to keep their heads above water. Jeb Bush was only a few yards away. He watched as both children drowned.

The children's panicked stricken parents had run around the lake. When they reached the spot where Jeb Bush was they screamed "you were only a few feet away! why didn't you save them?". Jeb Bush looked at the parents then pointed to a sign that said "SWIMMING IN THE LAKE IS AGAINST THE LAW!"

You might wonder what kind of man would do such a thing. What kind of man would allow someone to die just because of a "law"? The answer to that question is a man like Jeb Bush would. If you don't believe me ask Terri Schiavo. Oh wait, you can't ask her can you?

Jeb Bush is one of the most wimpy assed pu$$ys ever to be elected to any office. He, like the rest of the Bush family, are blood sucking ticks feasting on the taxpayers. To hell with them all.

I’m experiencing a lot of Bush Burn Out

Because we hear it over and over and over - Bush's fault. It's so liberal - always pointing the finger away from themselves. Did we see Bush do that to clinton? No. and he had plenty to point the finger at. And msm was praising willy. Bush didn't use that 'finger pointing' tactic. If, in '93, willy took care of the terrorist, what then? He ignored it all - only fun and games and hollywood and keeping his name out of the headlines - and the dotcom was running wild. So bush was left w/the major cleanup - 9/11, etc.

Don’t kid yourself into thinking that the elections are being stolen.......The elections are simply being bought

Stolen, bought - it's all the same. Bus loads being p/u for their gain, cigs/money as good will, voter machine tampering, voting two or three times, no check on credentials - we only hear about a drop in the bucket - it all adds up.
