She knew from the beginning. According to a CIA memorandum summarizing briefings to Congress on the use of enhanced interrogation techniques on terrorist detainees, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) knew from the very beginning that those techniques -- including waterboarding -- were being used on September 2, 2002.
According to the memo the very first briefing listed is 9/4/02 with then Rep. Porter Goss & Pelosi. The summary of the briefing says:
“Briefing on EITs including use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah, background on authorities, and a description of the particular EITs that had been employed.”
This directly contradicts Pelosi’s story, that “we were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation methods were used.”
As HUMAN EVENTS reported earlier, Pelosi - by objecting to the use of the enhanced interrogation techniques - could have stopped them but didn't.
Pelosi's misstatements were apparently intended to divert attention from her and other Democrats in Congress who knew of all the enhanced interrogation methods -- in detail -- apparently as soon as they were being used.
Why is it that this all sounds so familiar...IIRC, wasn’t there some brew haha quite some time ago about who was ‘briefed’ about waterboarding? I distinctly remember reading about Harman, Pelosi, Reid and Rockefeller. Do you remember?

I don't have a deja vu feeling over waterboarding. I suspect your recollection is regarding surveillance. Rockefeller had that memo-to-self in his safe, etc.

Nancy and her husband have a proven track record of greed and corruption. They belong behind bars or better yet, in front of a wall pitted with bullet holes. If you get my drift . . .
The timing tells of the intent. Saturday = We had to release it, but nobody will pay attention. Friday = The markets are closed. Thursday = Gotcha’ : Talk radio and the internets are going to make sure that — Sunday = Ruh roh....
Sadly, everyone knew she was lying when she denied it last week - so this is almost “old news.” No one will do anything about it - certainly not the MSM.
Is there anything that can be done? I mean can we force someone investigate her, or doesn’t it matter because she didn’t say it “under oath”? Just curious.

Now email this article to 30 friends, pointing out that the Dems have been lying to the American people for political gain over this, and endangering national security in the process. Point out that Barry was either lying or clueless about supposed British non-use of enhanced interrogation techniques in WWII, while you’re at it. They used EITs plenty.
